Hva er IK-bygg? IK-bygg er et internkontrollsystem som synliggjør byggets tilstand og skaderisiko i forhold til lovpålagte krav om helse, miljø og sikkerhet (HMS). Sitat: IK-bygg er stien gjennom jungelen av lover og forskrifter for drift av bygg, og holdes vedlike i samarbeid med tilsynsmyndighetene gjennom årlige revisjoner. Hva gjør IK-bygg? Samler alt regelverk på ett sted Viser vei gjennom jungelen av lover og regler om helse, miljø og sikkerhet (HMS). Revideres og oppdateres jevnlig i samarbeid med tilsynene. Kartlegger tilstand med farger Enkel og praktisk sjekkliste med spørsmål som besvares ved hjelp av trafikklys (grønt, gult og rødt). Visuell sterk og enkel å forstå Stimulerer til samarbeid Sjekklisten tydeliggjøre plassering av ansvar og stimulere til samarbeid også med brukerne av byggene. Fire roller: eier, forvalter, utfører og bruker/leietaker

Bred støtte IK-bygg støttes og fremmes som et nyttig og nødvendig verktøy til systematisk internkontroll: Direktoratet for Byggkvalitet Direktoratet for Samfunnssikkerhet og Beredskap (DSB) KLP Skadeforsikring Norsk Brannvernforening Arbeidstilsynet Helsedirektoratet NKF bygg og eiendom (tidligere FOBE) IK-bygg eies av NKF og norske kommuner, og oppdateres og revideres jevnlig i samarbeid med tilsynene.
Antall brukere IK-bygg Siden lanseringen våren 2011 er det i dag over 110 kommuner som bruker IK-bygg.

Boligmappa - et samarbeid med håndverkerne i Norge
Fordelene Skaffe til veie relevante opplysninger om byggene som f.eks. adresse, bygningsnr., byggeår, næringskode, areal, antall etasjer, antall rom, kartkoordinater m.m. Lettere for håndverkere å sende kommunen viktig dokumentasjon elektronisk som f.eks. samsvarserklæring etter utført arbeid. Kommunen kan direkte i IK-bygg søke etter godkjente og seriøse håndverkere i eget nærområde.
