2 General Safety Instructions! - Check that the installation, putting into service and maintenance of this apparatus is carried out by qualified personnel with knowledge of the apparatus to be installed. All the procedures as laid out in this installation and service instruction manual must be known. - To perform the following installation requires a vocational training (electrician, electrical engineer) and some years of experience. - Make sure the standard and legal prescriptions are adhered to during the installation, putting into service and maintenance. All procedures must be carried out in strict compliance to the rules of good working practice and safety at the work site. - Please read this instruction manual and plan the work before starting the installation. - Strictly follow the information given in this instruction manual. - Pay special attention to the danger notes as indicated in this manual by the following symbol: - Check and ensure that the personnel operating the apparatus have the instruction manual at hand, as well as the necessary information for correct installation. - Before starting the retrofit upgrade the switchgear must be deenergized. The switchgear is de-energized by operating the switches to disconnected position. - Check that all mechanism springs are discharged. If in doubt, close and open the switch. 2/8

Vedkommende må også kjenne til prosedyrer som er beskrevet i dette installasjonsheftet. - For å utføre følgende installasjon kreves yrkesfaglig erfaring som elektriker, elektroingeniør eller liknende. - Sørg for at sikkerheten rundt installasjonsarbeidet er ivaretatt i henhold til nasjonale normer og forskrifter. Arbeidet utføres av en fagperson. - Les manualen nøye før arbeidet påbegynnes. - Utfør installasjonen nøyaktig som beskrevet i denne manualen. - Vær spesielt nøye med å lese og følge anvisninger når det er indikert med fare symbolet: - Sørg for at betjeningspersonell har dette installasjonsheftet og har fått nødvendig informasjon når de betjener det installerte utstyret. - Før installasjonen påbegynnes, sørg for at avgangen det skal jobbes på er strømløs og at bryterne er utkoblet. - Alle fjærer på mekanismene må være avspent. Operate the vacuum circuit breaker to open position Betjen effektbryteren til utkoblet stilling 2. Verify that the operating springs are not charged Kontroller at koblingsfjærene ikke er forspente 3. Unscrew the locking screws and remove the upper front cover Løsne begge låseskruene og fjern det øvre frontdekslet 4/8

5 4. Fix the tappet to the bolt with a nut Fest medbringertappen til bolten med en mutter 5 5. Unscrew the relay trip coil Skru av relespolen 6 Part A Del A 6. Remove the circlip and then part A from the rear of the relay trip coil Fjern seegeringen og deretter del A fra baksiden av relespolen 5/8

6 7 Notice the pin in the slot Merk tappen i hullet 7. Fix the tappet to the relay trip coil with a new circlip NB! Make sure that the metal pin gets into the slot, as shown in the picture Fest medbringertappen til relespolen med en ny seegering OBS! Påse at metalltappen kommer i hullet, slik som vist på bildet 8 Tripping lever, push direction Utløserstag, trykkretning Unlatched position Uspent posisjon Latched position Spent posisjon 8. Press the tripping lever of the relay trip coil in the indicated direction into latched position Press utløserstaget på relespolen til spent posisjon 6/8

7 9 M5 x Fix the relay trip coil with 2 pieces of M5x10 screws Fest reléspolen med 2 stk M5x10 skruer 10. Place the new bolt inside the spanner slot of the trigger bar on the under voltage coil Tre den nye bolten inn i nøkkelsporet i utløserstaget på underspenningsspolen 7/8

8 M6x10 Time relay Tidsrelé 11 Contactor Kontaktor Bracket Brakett M6x Fix the bracket for the under voltage coil to the mechanism with 2 pieces of M6x10 screws Fest braketten for underspenningsspolen til mekanismen med 2 stk M6x10 skruer V module with WIC1 self powered relay V-modul med WIC1 selvdrevet relé V module with ABB self powered relay V-modul med ABB selvdrevet relé 12. Re-place and fix the upper front cover Sett tilbake og fest det øvre frontdekslet 8/8
