2 General Safety Instructions! - Check that the installation, putting into service and maintenance of this apparatus is carried out by qualified personnel with knowledge of the apparatus to be installed. All the procedures as laid out in this installation and service instruction manual must be known. - To perform the following installation requires a vocational training (electrician, electrical engineer) and some years of experience. - Make sure the standard and legal prescriptions are adhered to during the installation, putting into service and maintenance. All procedures must be carried out in strict compliance to the rules of good working practice and safety at the work site. - Please read this instruction manual and plan the work before starting the installation. - Strictly follow the information given in this instruction manual. - Pay special attention to the danger notes as indicated in this manual by the following symbol: - Check and ensure that the personnel operating the apparatus have the instruction manual at hand, as well as the necessary information for correct installation. - Before starting the retrofit upgrade the switchgear must be de-energized. The switchgear is de-energized by operating the switches to disconnected position. - Check that all mechanism springs are discharged. If in doubt, close and open the switch. 2/14

3 Sikkerhetsinstruks! - Sørg for at installasjon, idriftsettelse og vedlikehold er utført av kvalifisert personell som har kjennskap til utstyret som blir installert. Vedkommende må også kjenne til prosedyrer som er beskrevet i dette installasjonsheftet. - For å utføre følgende installasjon kreves yrkesfaglig erfaring som elektriker, elektroingeniør eller liknende. - Sørg for at sikkerheten rundt installasjonsarbeidet er ivaretatt i henhold til nasjonale normer og forskrifter. Arbeidet utføres av en fagperson. - Les manualen nøye før arbeidet påbegynnes. - Utfør installasjonen nøyaktig som beskrevet i denne manualen. - Vær spesielt nøye med å lese og følge anvisninger når det er indikert med fare symbolet: - Sørg for at betjeningspersonell har dette installasjonsheftet og har fått nødvendig informasjon når de betjener det installerte utstyret. - Før installasjonen påbegynnes, sørg for at avgangen det skal jobbes på er strømløs og at bryterne er utkoblet. - Alle fjærer på mekanismene må være avspent. 4 Installation procedure NB! Before starting the retrofit upgrade the switchgear must be de-energized Earthing switch must be in closed position and the other switches in open position OBS! Sørg for at avgangen det skal jobbes på er strømløs Jordslutter skal være innkoblet mens de andre bryterne skal være utkoblet 1. Unscrew the fixing screws and remove the cable compartment cover. If the module is arc proof, the arc absorber must be unscrewed Løsne festeskruene og fjern kabelavdekningen Dersom feltet er lysbuesikkert, må brennplaten skrues av If the module is equipped with capacitive voltage indication, move on to appendix A Dersom feltet har kapasitiv spenningsindikering fra før av, gå til appendix A 4/14

6 4 Special spanner is needed Spesialfastnøkkel må benyttes 4. Fix 1 piece of special brass screw in each cable bushing NB! Do not fix the screws too tight, as it is easy to damage the threads! Skru 1 stk spesialskrue i messing i hver av kabelgjennomføringene OBS! Skruene må ikke tiltrekkes for hardt, da det er lett å overdra gjengene i gjennomføringingene! 5. Unscrew the fixing screw and remove the upper front cover Open the lower front cover Løsne festeskruen og fjern det øvre fontdekselet Åpne nedre frontdeksel 6. Guide the coaxial cables through the hole in the horizontal partition wall Press the sealing plug into the hole. Fix the earth conductor to existing bolt Consult the figure for the sequence of the parts Fest jordledningen til eksisterende bolt Se figur for delenes rekkefølge 8. Insert the o-ring into the connection piece of the coaxial cable NB! Check that the conductor is visible Plasser o-ringen inni koaksialkabelens tilkoblingshylse OBS! Pass på at lederen er synlig 9. Screw the coaxial cables to the special brass screws on the cable bushings NB! Make sure that the phase sequence is correct! 8 10. Fix the cables between cable bushings and sealing plug with cable ties and attachment Fest ledningene mellom gjennomføringene og tetningspluggen med strips og stripsfeste 11. Guide the voltage indicator to the rear side of the bracket, and fix it using 2 special screws Før spenningsindikatoren til baksiden av festebraketten og fest den med 2 spesialskruer 8/14

Fix cables with cable ties Use attachment for cable ties if no holes are available Fest ledningene med strips Bruk stripsfeste hvis det ikke er noen tilgjengelige hull V module Gather the cables with cable ties Samle ledningene med strips 13. If the module is a V module, move on to the next step If not, gather the cables with cable ties Dersom feltet er et V-felt, gå videre til neste punkt Hvis ikke, samle ledningene med strips 14. Unscrew the outermost nut and remove the old earth conductor and any washers now loose Skru av den ytterste mutteren og fjern den gamle jordledningen og alle skiver som nå er løse 4. Unscrew the coaxial cables from the brass screws on the cable bushings Skru koaksialkablene av messingsskruene på gjennomføringene 4 5. Unscrew the 2 screws holding the voltage indicator Remove the old voltage indicator and its cables Skru av skruene som holder spenningindikatoren Fjern spenningsindikatoren og tilhørende ledninger 5 11/14

Guide the coaxial cables from the new voltage indicator through the hole in the horizontal partition wall Press the sealing plug into the hole Før koaksialkablene fra den nye spenningsindikatoren gjennom hullet i den horisontale deleveggen Trykk tetningspluggen fast i hullet Toothed washer Tannskive Spring washer Fjærskive Do not loosen!
