2 General Safety Instructions! - Check that the installation, putting into service and maintenance of this apparatus is carried out by qualified personnel with knowledge of the apparatus to be installed. All the procedures as laid out in this installation and service instruction manual must be known. - To perform the following installation requires a vocational training (electrician, electrical engineer) and some years of experience. - Make sure the standard and legal prescriptions are adhered to during the installation, putting into service and maintenance. All procedures must be carried out in strict compliance to the rules of good working practice and safety at the work site. - Please read this instruction manual and plan the work before starting the installation. - Strictly follow the information given in this instruction manual. - Pay special attention to the danger notes as indicated in this manual by the following symbol: - Check and ensure that the personnel operating the apparatus have the instruction manual at hand, as well as the necessary information for correct installation. - Before starting the retrofit upgrade the switchgear must be deenergized. The switchgear is de-energized by operating the switches to disconnected position. - Check that all mechanism springs are discharged. If in doubt, close and open the switch. 2/15

3 Sikkerhetsinstruks! - Sørg for at installasjon, idriftsettelse og vedlikehold er utført av kvalifisert personell som har kjennskap til utstyret som blir installert. Vedkommende må også kjenne til prosedyrer som er beskrevet i dette installasjonsheftet. - For å utføre følgende installasjon kreves yrkesfaglig erfaring som elektriker, elektroingeniør eller liknende. - Sørg for at sikkerheten rundt installasjonsarbeidet er ivaretatt i henhold til nasjonale normer og forskrifter. Arbeidet utføres av en fagperson. - Les manualen nøye før arbeidet påbegynnes. - Utfør installasjonen nøyaktig som beskrevet i denne manualen. - Vær spesielt nøye med å lese og følge anvisninger når det er indikert med fare symbolet: - Sørg for at betjeningspersonell har dette installasjonsheftet og har fått nødvendig informasjon når de betjener det installerte utstyret. - Før installasjonen påbegynnes, sørg for at avgangen det skal jobbes på er strømløs og at bryterne er utkoblet. - Alle fjærer på mekanismene må være avspent. If an opening coil marked Y1 is mounted, remove the locking washer and unscrew two screws If not, move on to step 10 Dersom en åpnespole merket Y1 er montert, fjern låseskiven og skru av to skruer Hvis ikke, gå videre til punkt 10 8/15

11 16. Fix the bracket which was removed during step 12 Fest braketten som ble fjernet under punkt B B NOTICE! Flip back the transmission bar which was removed during step 11 and fix it with the screw and washers removed during step 10 Check that all parts are in place (picture on the right) NB! Make sure that the screw is not fixed too tight Test this by moving the bracket backwards and forwards Roter tilbake overføringsstaget som ble fjernet under punkt 11, og skru den fast med skruen og skivene som ble fjernet under punkt 10 Se til at alle delene er på rett plass (bilde til høyre) OBS! Påse at skruen ikke er festet for hardt Test dette ved å bevege braketten fram og tilbake B- B Transmisison bar Overføringsstag 11/15

Make sure that the mechanical parts for opening and closing are in correct position Test this by pushing the green button and se if the transmission bar moves 19 Fest braketten med trykknapper

12 Lock washer Låseskive M5x If relay trip coil Y1 was removed earlier, re-place it Dersom relespolen Y1 tidligere var montert, fest denne igjen 19. Fix bracket with push buttons that was removed in step 8 Make sure that both trip levers of the mechanism are inserted into the push buttons NB! Make sure that the mechanical parts for opening and closing are in correct position Test this by pushing the green button and se if the transmission bar moves 19 Fest braketten med trykknapper som ble fjernet i punkt 8 Påse at begge utløserarmene er plassert inne i hver sin trykknapp OBS! Påse at alle mekaniske deler for inn- og ut-kommando er korrekt montert Test dette ved å trykke på den grønne knappen og se om overføringsstag beveger seg Transmisison bar Overføringsstag 12/15

Press the tripping lever of the new Y6 in the indicated direction into latched position

If auxiliary switch S9 (signal for tripped relay) is specified, fix it with 2 pieces of

Press the tripping lever of the new Y6 in the indicated direction into latched position Press utløserstaget på den nye relespolen Y6 til spent posisjon 23 S9 M4 x If auxiliary switch S9 (signal for tripped relay) is specified, fix it with 2 pieces of M4x16 screws on the rear side of Y6 Dersom signalvender S9 (utløst relé) benyttes, fest den på baksiden av Y6 med 2 stk M4x16 skruer 14/15

15 Fix Y6 with 2 pieces of M5x10 screws Fest Y6 med 2 stk M5x10 skruer M5 x Gather the wires using strips, to avoid damage from moving parts Samle ledningene med strips, for å unngå skade fra bevegelige deler 26. If the top plate was removed earlier, fix it Hvis topplaten ble fjernet tidligere, fest den 27. Re-place and fix the front covers Sett tilbake og fest frontdekslene 15/15
