2 General Safety Instructions! - Check that the installation, putting into service and maintenance of this apparatus is carried out by qualified personnel with knowledge of the apparatus to be installed. All the procedures as laid out in this installation and service instruction manual must be known. - To perform the following installation requires a vocational training (electrician, electrical engineer) and some years of experience. - Make sure the standard and legal prescriptions are adhered to during the installation, putting into service and maintenance. All procedures must be carried out in strict compliance to the rules of good working practice and safety at the work site. - Please read this instruction manual and plan the work before starting the installation. - Strictly follow the information given in this instruction manual. - Pay special attention to the danger notes as indicated in this manual by the following symbol: - Check and ensure that the personnel operating the apparatus have the instruction manual at hand, as well as the necessary information for correct installation. - Before starting the retrofit upgrade the switchgear must be deenergized. Please de-energize the switchgear by operating the switches to disconnected position. - Check that all mechanism springs are discharged. If in doubt, close and open the switch. 2/11

Arbeidet utføres av en fagperson. - Les manualen nøye før arbeidet påbegynnes. - Utfør installasjonen nøyaktig som beskrevet i denne manualen. - Vær spesielt nøye med å lese og følge anvisninger når det er indikert med fare symbolet: - Sørg for at betjeningspersonell har dette installasjonsheftet og har fått nødvendig informasjon når de betjener det installerte utstyret. - Før installasjonen påbegynnes, sørg for at avgangen det skal jobbes på er strømløs og at bryterne er utkoblet. - Alle fjærer på mekanismene må være avspent. Unscrew the bracket for capacitive voltage indication Skru av braketten for kapasitiv spenningsindikering *Depending on SafeRing / SafePlus production year, the position indicator may be different compared to the drawing above. Please refer to Appendix A, if your position indicator is different. *Avhengig av når SafeRing / SafePlus anlegget er produsert, kan stillingsindikeringen være forskjellig fra tegningen over. 6 3. Snap on protection on the edges of the mechanism to avoid damage of wires Monter kantbeskyttelse på mekanismen for å unngå skade på ledninger 3 4 M6x10 X1 4. Fix the bracket for the terminals marked X1 to the mechanism with 2 pieces of M6x10 screws Fest braketten med rekkeklemmene merket X1 til mekanismen med 2 stk M6x10 skruer 6/11

Pull the position indicator maximum 2 mm out and fit the bracket with the auxiliary switch marked S10 behind the camshaft, as shown in the figure Fix the auxiliary switch with 2 pieces of M4x10 screws Dra ut stillingsindikeringen maksimalt 2 mm og vipp braketten med signalvenderen merket S10 bak kamakselen, som vist på figuren Monter signalvenderen med 2 stk M4x10 skruer 7/11

Fix the wires to avoid any damages from moving parts VIKTIG! Fest alle ledninger slik at skader fra bevegelige deler unngås 7. 10 5. Fix the bracket with the terminals marked X1 to the mechanism with 2 pieces of M6x10 screws Fest braketten med rekkeklemmene merket X1 til mekanismen med 2 stk M6x10 skruer X1 M4 x 10 S10 6. Fix the bracket for the auxiliary switch marked S10 with 2 pieces of M4x10 screws Monter braketten med signalvenderen merket S10 med 2 stk M4x10 skruer 10/11

Fix the bracket for capacitive voltage indication, which was removed during step 2 Fest braketten for kapasitiv spenningsindikering som ble fjernet under punkt 2 8. Fix the position indicator, which was removed during step 3 Fest stillingsindikeringen som ble fjernet under punkt 3 IMPORTANT! Fix the wires to avoid any damages from moving parts VIKTIG! Fest alle ledninger slik at skader fra bevegelige deler unngås 9. Re-place and fix the front covers Sett tilbake og fest frontdekslene 11/11
