2 Annual control of HENRIKSEN SAFETY QUICK RELEASE HOOKS for MOB- boats 1. The control to be performed by users/maintenance personnel. Note: For safety reasons, carry out the control in good lighting conditions. 2. Rinsing/Cleaning Remove all impurities (salt, grease, dust etc.) with fresh water. 3. Visual Inspection Check that the following parts are free of deformations and defects: - bush - Identity and instruction labels. - side supports - release handle - locking pin release handle - spring - latch for entry of ring Control the function by simulating hook-load and engage the release handle. The hook shall release when the hook-load is in range 5-30 KGs. Check that the hook is moving unimpeded for correct release. 5. The hook mounting Inspect the hook fastening for mechanical defects (deformation, cracks, wear & tear etc. In case of removal of the hook from its mounting, the nuts must be renewed M12, A4 (stainless steel) for HRH 1,5 M24, A4 (stainless steel) for HMK 3,5 M30, A4 (Stainless steel) for HMK 5, HMK 8 and HSL Lifting eye/strap Visually inspect that the standard of lifting arrangements - eye, strap, etc, is satisfactory. 3 Annual Control of HENRIKSEN Swivel Joint for Quick release hooks for MOB-Boats. 1. The control to be performed by users/maintenance personnel. Note: For safety reasons, carry out the control in good lighting conditions. 2. Rinsing/Cleaning Remove all resistant solids (salt, grease, dust etc.) by using fresh water only. When the swivel is cleaned, please inject new grease in nipples. 3. Visual Inspection Check that the following parts are OK and free of deformations - bushing - identifications label - supports - Refill grease if necessary, (Grease 30 o C o C) Check that all moveable parts are running free. 5. Fastening Inspect the swivel joint fastening for mechanical defects (deformation, cracks, wear & tear etc.) In case of removal of the swivel joint from its mounting, the nylock nuts must be renewed M30, A4 (stainless) Doc. Note: For safety reasons, carry out the control in good lighting conditions 2. Rinsing/Cleaning Remove all impurities (salt, grease, duts etc.) with fresh water. 3. Visual inspection Check that the following parts are free for deformations and defects: - bush - identification - side supports - release handles - springs - latch for entry ring - remote cable for remote release Control the function by simulating hook-load and engage the release handle. The hook shall release when the hook-load is in the range 5-30 kgs. Check that the hook is moving unimpeded fir correct release. 5. The hook mounting Inspect the hook fastening for mechanical defects (deformation, cracks, wear & tear etc.). In case of removal of the hook from its mounting, the nuts must be renewed. 6. Lifting eye/strap Visually inspect that the standard of lifting arrangements eye, strap, etc. is satisfactory. Doc. No.: M Page 4 of 6 Rev. 02

5 Årlig kontroll av HENRIKSEN Utløser Kroker for MOB-Båter. 1. DENNE KONTROLL UTFØRES AV BRUKERORGANISASJONENS VEDLIKEHOLDSPERSONELL. NB: Av sikkerhetsmessige årsaker bør kontrollen utføres under gode lysforhold. 2. Rensing/vasking Fjern alle urenheter (salt, fett, støv etc) med fersk vann. 3. Visuell kontroll Kontroller at alle deler er i orden og fri for deformasjoner: - foring - merke- og instruksjonsskilt - sideplater - utløserhåndtak - låsepinne for utløserhåndtak - fjærer - pall (der hvor ringen skal inn) Kontroller at korken fungere ved å holde strekk i kroken samtidig som den løses ut. Når strekket reduseres (5-30 kg) skal kroken løse ut. Kontroller at alle bevegelige deler løper fritt. 5. Innfesting Kontroller at krokens Innfesting er fri for mekaniske defekter (deformasjoner, sprekker, slitasje, etc.) Dersom krok er fjernet fra Innfesting skal muttere skiftes. M12, A4 (syrefast) for HRH 1,5 M24, A4 (syrefast) for HMK 3,5 M30, A4 (syrefast) for HMK 5, HMK 8 og HSL Løfting/stropp Kontroller videre at løfteanretninger som ring, stropp, og lignende har en tilfredsstillende standard. 6 Årlig kontroll av HENRIKSEN Svingeledd for Mob-båter. 1. DENNE KONTROLL UTFØRES AV BRUKERORGANISASJONENS VEDLIKEHOLDSPERSONELL. NB: Av sikkerhetsmessige årsaker bør kontrollen utføres under gode lysforhold. 2. RENSING/VASKING Fjern alle urenheter (salt, fett, støv etc) ved å vaske med vann 3. Visuell kontroll Kontroller at alle deler er i orden og fri for deformasjoner - foring - merke- og instruksjonsskilt - platene fri for deformasjoner - sprekker - fett - Kontroller at alle bevegelige deler løper fritt. 5. Innfestning Kontroller at svingeleddets innfestning er frifor mekaniske defekter (deformasjoner, sprekker, slitasje, etc.) Dersom svingleddet er fjernet fra innfestning SKAL muttere skiftes. Doc.
