Hva betyr antibiotikaresistens for folkehelsen? Jørgen Vildershøj Bjørnholt Avdeling for Infeksjonsovervåking, FHI 20 mars 2014

Antibiotikaprofylakse forebygger mange infeksjoner.

Prevalence of ESBL production among E. coli and Klebsiella spp. isolates from blood and urine 2003-2012.
Prevalence (%) of non-susceptibility to various antimicrobial agents in Streptococcus pneumoniae blood culture isolates during 2000-2012. Doxycycline was substituted by tetracycline in 2005. All results are categorised according to the2013 breakpoint protocol. *TMS=Trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole.
Prevalence of resistance to various antimicrobial agents in urinary tract E. coli isolates 2000-2012. The breakpoint for resistance to ampicillin was changed from R > 16 mg/l to R > 8 mg/l in 2005. For all years, isolates previously classified as intermediately susceptible have been categorised as susceptible according to 2013 EUCAST guidelines. *TMS=Trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole.
