5 Vedlikeholdsinformasjon Care instructions Understell: - For å sikre understellets varighet, må bevegelige deler rengjøres og smøres med jevne mellomrom. - Lakkerte understell er like utsatt for riper og rust som biler. Derfor må alle typer riper og sår i lakken pusses med fint sandpapir, og lakkes. SIMOs forhandlere selger vedlikeholdssett til understell i lakkfargene. Rustskader grunnet dårlig vedlikehold, er ikke reklamasjonsgrunnlag. Et understell krever vedlikehold på lik linje med for eksempel en sykkel. Understell og hjul må tørkes av med jevne mellomrom og vi anbefaler voks/polish til de lakkerte og forniklede delene. Akslene må smøres med jevne mellomrom. - Lufthjul kan punktere. Hjulet (slangen) må da lappes på samme måte som man lapper et sykkelhjul. Egnet utstyr kjøpes i spesialbutikker for sykler. Overdel/bag: - Alle våre tekstiler er impregnerte slik at tekstilene er vann-avvisende. Baksiden av ytterstoffene (kalesje, bag og regntrekk) er belagt slik at de er vindtett og sikret mot vanngjennomtrengning. NB! Det må ikke stikkes nåler (til refleks og lignende) gjennom duken. Dette ødelegger vognens vann- og vindtetthet. - Tekstildeler med vaskeanvisning vaskes i maskin på 30ºC (Setetrekk, frontbøyletrekk, selepolstring, innertrekk, madrass og regntrekk). - Ved rengjøring av ikke vaskbare deler må det kun benyttes mildt vaskemiddel (f.eks. Nylonvask). Vognen må ikke tørkes i direkte sollys. - Alle SIMOs yttertekstiler (kalesje og regntrekk) er vanntette. Vi anbefaler imidlertid at det benyttes heldekkende regntrekk under ekstreme værforhold. Dette vil også beskytte vognen mot sur nedbør og annen forurensning. - Regnvær skader ikke vognen, men for å bevare vognen pen lengst mulig, bør ytterstoffet tørkes av med en tørr klut når vognen er våt. Dette gjelder også lakkerte og forkrommede deler. - Vognen bør ikke utsettes for sterkt sollys over lengre tid, da det etter hvert vil føre til bleking av stoffet. NB! Kjøpsbeviset bør medbringes ved eventuell reklamasjon for å dokumentere når varen er kjøpt. (*) Normal bruk omfatter ikke: rengjøring. forhold som skyldes kjøper eller forhold på hans side. Reklamasjonsrett: Kjøpslovens bestemmelser er til enhver tid gjeldende. Skulle du som kjøper ha noe å klage på, må du innen rimelig tid etter at du har oppdaget eller burde ha oppdaget en mangel, gi melding til din nærmeste SIMO-forhandler. Det må forventes at vognen får en naturlig slitasje etter en tids bruk. Alle SIMOs tekstiler tilfredsstiller internasjonale krav til lysekthet og gniekthet. Chassis: - All movable parts has to be cleaned up from time to time to secure the chassis for permanent resistence. - All painted chassis can be exposed for rust and rifts as cars, in that case all rifts must be polished with a fine polish paper and then painted. Paint can be bought for the chassis at all Simo retailers. It is no claim for rust because of bad maintenance. The chassis must be maintained for instance like a bicycle. From time to time clean the chassis and wheels, all the painted and nickeled parts on the chassis and wheels must be cleaned with a polish/wax. Oil the axels from time to time. - Air wheel can be punctured, the tube must be repaired same way as a bicycle tube, this can be bought in special bicycle shops. Textile set/carry cot: - All Simo fabrics are made water repellent, the backside of the fabric for hood, pram body, carrycot and rain cover has a coating which means that the fabric is windproof and secured waterpermeability. NOTE! Do not apply attachable reflectors to the fabric, this will destroy the wind and water resistance of the fabric. - The textile parts can be washed by machine 30 C. Follow the washing instruction on the textile (seat cover, cover for bumper bar, carry cot lining, mattress and rain cover). - For parts that are not washable, clean by using a moist cloth with a mild washing detergent. Do not leave the pram to dry in direct sunlight. - All the outer fabrics on the Simo prams (hood and rain cover) are water repellent. We recommend to use an all over extra rain cover for extreme weather as well as air pollution. - Rain will not destroy your pram but to protect the pram as long as possible wipe the outer fabric with a dry cloth when the pram is wet. Do the same with the painted and chromed parts. - The pram shall not be exposed for sunlight for longer time, this can cause bleaching of the fabric. NOTE! The pram shall not be dried in directly sunlight. For normal use (*) According to Norwegian consumer rights law, Simo prams may be returned due to fabric defects. To return your pram, bring proof of purchase to the retailer as documentation for when the pram was bought. (*) Normal use does not consist of: Your right to return merchandise: In accordance with Norwegian consumer rights law, you should contact your Simo retailer as soon as possible, or within a reasonable time, if you have any complaints about your Simo pram or if the pram is defective in any way. Natural wear and tear must be expected after a while. According to international fabric requirements, Simo`s textiles fulfil the colourfastness to light and resistance to rubbing. NOTE: a combination of sun/sea or sun/snow, air pollution, drying in sunlight etc can affect the fabric and the fabric can loose some of the ordinary colour. 8 Bruksanvisning - User Guide UNDERSTELL - CHASSIS Montere på hjulene Fixing the wheels Fjern akselbeskytterne og ta vare på dem for fremtiden (for beskyttelse når vognen transporteres uten hjul). Påse at parkeringsbremsen er av. Press ned låseknappen og skyv hjulet inn på akselen så langt som mulig. Løsne knappen og sjekk at hjulet er skikkelig festet. VIKTIG! Påse alltid før du bruker vognen at hjulene er skikkelig festet og at de ikke kan trekkes av akselen. Noen gulvoverflater inneholder komponenter som gør at hjulene avgir et sortfarget pigment som kan smitte av på gulvet. Påse derfor at hjulene ikke direkte berører gulvet. Slik fjernes hjulene: Skyv inn låseknappen og trekk hjulet av akselen. Tørk av all skitt fra akslene før hjulet brukes igjen. Remove the axle protectors and save them for future use (protection when transporting without wheels). Ensure that the parking brake is released. Press the locking button and push the wheel onto the axle as far as it will go. Release the button and check that the wheel is firmly in place. IMPORTANT! Ensure before use that the wheels are firmly attachd and that they cannot be pulled off the axle. Some floor materials contain components which release black colour pigment from the tyres which may discolour the floor. You should therefore ensure that the tyres do not stand directly on the floor. Removal of wheel: press the locking button and then pull the wheel off the axle. Wipe off any dirt from the axles before you put the wheel back on again. Anvendelse av parkeringsbremsen Using the parking brake GO STOP Bremsen skal trykkes NED for å settes på og løftes OPP for å frigjøres. Kontrollér at bremsen treffer riktig på bremsekransen, hvis ikke låser den ikke skikkelig. Påse at parkeringsbremsen står på når barnet skal settes opp i eller tas ut av vognen. Press down the brake to activate, and pull it up to release. When the parking brake is applied, ensure that the brake rods lock in the wheel cogs. If not the wheel is not locked properly. Ensure that the parking brake is engaged as you place your child in or take your child out of the pram/ pushchair. 8

10 Regulering av høyden på håndtaket Adjusting handle height Juster vinkelen på håndtaket ved å trykke inn knappene på håntaksreguleringen på begge sider (innside) av håndtaket. Hev/ sent vinkelen på håndtaket til den ønskede posisjon, slipp knappene og håndtaket vil låse seg i den nye posisjonen. Før vognen tas i bruk, sjekk alltid at håndtaket befinner seg i låst posisjon og at det har samme høyde på begge sider. Alt som blir hengt på det justerbare håndtaket reduserer vognens stabilitet og øker risikoen for at vognen kan tippe. Adjust the height of the handle by pressing the buttons on the height adjuster on both sides (inside) of the handle. Raise/ lower the handle to the required position, release the buttons and the handle will lock into its new position. Ensure that the handle is in locked position and at the same height on both sides before use. Any load attachd to the handle affects the stability of the pram/pushchair. Feste innsatsen eller bagen til understellet Fixing the seat unit and pram body to the chassis A B C 1 2 (A) Løft opp bagen eller innsatsen i armlenet og plasser den på click-in låsene på understellet. Når du trykker bagen/ innsatsen ned på låsene skal du høre et click! idet bagen/ innsatsen låser seg på understellet. (B) Bagen/innsatsen kan festes i begge retninger. Sjekk alltid at sitteinnsatsen eller bagen er riktig låst/festet til understellet før vognen tas i bruk. (C) Løsne sitteinnsatsen/bagen ved å ta tak i håndtakene på begge sidene, trykk inn den lille røde knappen og trykk deretter inn den svarte låsen på håndtakets underside og løft. Bruk aldri sitteinnsatsen eller bagen som bilbarnestol. (A) Lift up the pram body or seat unit by the armrests and place it on the click-in locks on the chassis. Listen to hear the click as the pram body or seat unit lock on to the chassis. (B) The pram body and the seat unit can be placed on the chassis in either directions. Check that seat unit or pram body attachment devices, click-in locks, are correctly engaged to the chassis before use. (C) Remove pram body or seat unit by first pressing in the small red button and second the black locking device on both sides, finally lift pram body or seat unit upwards. Do not use the pram body or seat unit as a car seat. 10

11 Slik justeres ryggen Adjusting the backrest Ryggen kan justeres i tre ulike posisjoner. Trekk ryggen oppover for sittestilling. Skyv reguleringsbøylen for ryggen innover og flytt ryggen ned for liggestilling, og slipp reguleringsbølyen. The backrest can be placed in three different positions. Pull backrest upwards for a higher position. Push the backrest handle inwards and move the backrest downwards for a lower position, release handle. Slik justeres fotbrettet Adjusting the footrest Fotbrettet har to stillinger. For å heve fotbrettet, skyv brettet opp- og utover til den øverste posisjonen. For å senke fotbrettet, skyv brettet innover og ned. The footrest has two positions. To raise the footrest, move the footrest upwards/outwards to the uppermost position. To lower the footrest, press the footrest inwards and downwards. Slik demonteres handlekurvens tekstil Basket fabric removal Knepp opp samtlige borelåser som holder handlekurvens tekstil på plass. Remove all hook-and-loop strips holding the basket fabric. 11

12 BAGVOGN Bag Pram body Bagen leveres flatpakket. Fest bagen til understellet. Spenn opp bagen med de innvendige bøylene. Kontroller alltid før bruk, at barnevognsoverdelen er korrekt montert. The pram body is packed flat. Attach the pram body to the chassis. Raise the pram body sides with the steel frames. Check that the pram body attachment devices, click-in locks, are correctly engaged to the chassis before use. D-ringer Seler følger ikke med. Krokene på siden av selen monteres i D-ringene som sitter på bagens bunnplate. Benytt alltid seler så snart barnet kan sitte alene uten støtte. D-RINGS Harness not included. The side hooks on the harness should be attachd to the D-rings in the bottom plate of the prambody. Use a harness as soon as your child can sit unaided. 12

13 Fest ryggstøtten med trykknappene. Ryggstøtten kan monteres i sittestilling. Fix the back support with the push buttons. The back support can be locked in an upright position. Monter innertrekket. Fest med borrelåsen og brett innertrekket over kanten på bagen. Fit the side covers to the pram body. Fix the cover with the hook-and-loop strips and fold it down over the sides of the pram body. Det følger med madrass til bagen. Madrassen kan vaskes. Følg bruksanvisningen. Ikke benytt madrass tykkere enn 30 mm i bagen. The pram body comes with a mattress. The mattress can be machine washed, please follow the washing instruction. Do not add a mattress thicker than 30 mm in the pram. BÆRESTROPPER Av sikkerhetsmessige årsaker SKAL bærestroppene, når de IKKE er i bruk eller hvis barnet ligger i vognen, ligge innvendig skjult mellom innertrekk og bag, med alle borrelåser lukket. CARRYING STRAPS Make sure that the carrying straps are inside the lining with all the hook-in-loops locked inbetween the pram and the lining when they are not in use. This is for your childs security. 13

14 Kalesje - Hood Fest kalesjen ved å presse kalesjefestene på innsiden av røret på bagens sideram. VIKTIG! Bærestroppen nærmest hodeenden SKAL ligge inni kalesjen før kalesjen monteres til bagen (legges over bag kanten og inn i kalesjen) Når bærestroppen er tilgjengelig, lukkes innertrekket med borrelåsene over/i åpningen. Av sikkerhetsmessige årsaker SKAL bærestroppene, når de IKKE er i bruk eller hvis barnet ligger i vognen, ligge innvendig skjult mellom innertrekk og bag, med alle borrelåser lukket. Attach the hood by pressing the hood holders onto both sides of the inside of the pram bodies tubular frame. IMPORTANT! Make sure that the handles close to the head end lies inside the pram body before the hood is mounted to the pram (put the handles over the frame edge and in to the hood). Make sure that the carrying straps are inside the lining with all the hook-in-loops locked inbetween the pram and the lining when they are not in use. This is for your childs security. For å låse kalesjen i oppslått posisjon, må kalesjestrammerne presses ned og frem mot fronten på kalesjen. Kalesjestrammerne må dras opp og bakover for å frigjøre kalesjen. For keeping the hood in a straight position push the hood joints downwards and against the front of the hood. To release the hood; pull the hood joint up and backwards. Kalesjen har innvendige lommer til oppbevaring av småartikler. Inside the hood there are 2 pockets for small accessories. Regndekke - Apron Fest regndekket ved hjelp av trykknappene. Secure the apron with the push buttons. 14

15 KOMBI Bærebag Carrycot Spenn opp bærebagen med de innvendige bøylene. Monter innertrekket i bærebagen og legg i madrassen. Ikke benytt madrass tykkere enn 3 cm i bagen. Raise the carry cot sides with the steel frames. Fit the side covers to the carry cot and place the mattress. Do not add a mattress thicker than 3 cm. Fest bærebagens hette med trykknappene. Fix the hood of the carry cot with push buttons. 15

16 Montere bærebagen i sitteinnsatsen Fixing the carrycot to the seat unit A Fest sitteinnsatsen til understellet. Ryggen legges ned i full liggestilling. Juster fotbrettet i vannrett stilling og lås den fast (A). Legg ned frontbøylen. Attach the seat unit to the chassis. Lower the backrest to the fully reclined position. Place the footrest in horizontal position and lock the footrest lock (A), lower the bumper bar. Plasser bærebagen inn i innsatsen. Fest sikkerhetsstroppen rundt siderammen på begge sider. Kontrollér alltid før bruk, at bærebagen er korrekt festet. Place the carry cot in the seat unit. Attach the carry cot safety straps situated on both sides of the carry cot around the seat unit side frame. Check that the carrycot attachment devices are correctly engaged to the chassis before use. Sitteinnsatsen Seat unit Fest reguleringsbøylen. Fix the back rest handle. 16

17 Fest båndet til hodebeskyttelsen. Hvis stroppene er montert riktig, vil toppryggen på innsatsen automatisk plasseres i bøyd posisjon når barnet ligger i hvilestilling. Denne fungerer da som hodebeskytter for barnet. Fix the straps to the head protector. If the straps are fastened correctly, the top of the backrest automatically protects the childs head in sleeping position. Dra setetrekket over ryggstøtten og fest det med borrelås. Pass på at borrelåsen på undersiden av trekket treffer motparten montert på innsatsen i fot- og hodeenden. Pull the cover over seat back and fix it with the hook-andloop strips.
