Course responsible person: Ole Johan Andersen E-mail address: ole.johan.andersen@uin.no Course evaluation: The study programme is evaluated annually by students by way of course evaluation studies (mid-term evaluation and final evaluation). These evaluations are included in the university s quality assurance system. The course aims to elaborate the analytical skills of the students with regard to the understanding of political processes, including the design and implementation of policies, and public sector reforms. The course is structured in different sections: The first section develops further the knowledge in organizational theory which the students have acquired through previously accomplished elementary courses in the program (see PO110S). The second targets reforms, problems pertaining to the governance of the increasingly application of devolved or autonomous organizational models, and challenges of democratic governance. In the third section a workshop is organized with a focus on a topic of current interest.
