The Copenhagen Declaration on Nordic Cooperation on Meteorological Forecasting for Aviation: The National Meteorological Services of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden, Aware of their duty to contribute to the protection of life and property, Affirming their willingness to cooperate in the production and development of meteorological forecasting for aviation, Recognizing the need for cost-efficient, high-quality and up-to-date meteorological forecasting in the new Functional Airspace Blocks (FABs) over Europe, Recognizing further that they, together with National Meteorological Services from other European countries, already share a common production infrastructure, Recognizing further the importance of respecting the different needs of each state, and the international obligations and agreements they have, Cognizant that the possibility for national designation of MET-suppliers might limit competition in this area, Have agreed to form a consortium to provide aviation forecasting into NEFAB or into any other future Functional Airspace Block (FAB) covering a geographical area which includes the Nordic countries. The consortium shall be based on the following principles: -Cooperation between equal partners, taking as a basis the cooperation already established between DMI and SMHI in providing aviation forecasting for the common Danish-Swedish functional airspace block, -Significant cost reduction from the 2010 level, to be achieved, inter alia, through efficient division of tasks, without being constrained by national borders, minimized duplication, harmonized products, automated product production, as appropriate and without compromising quality, mutual back-up production capabilities, Cooperation on the development of products and services, First operational phase planned for 2014. The Director Generals of the Nordic Meteorological Services, acting in their capacity as the NORDMET Council, herewith task NOSC to start the planning of this cooperation. A final report should be delivered to the NORDMET Council by 1st May 2012. The NORDMET Council should be kept informed about the main elements in the planning, as the work proceeds.

DATAMODEL Data providers: Applications 4D Wx Cube SWIM ATM system Visualization demo in intranet Quick Win*
Naturlig å samarbeide gjennom eksisterende organisasjoner Eumetnet EIG
Samle inn kravspesifikasjoner for MET informasjon for En Route operasjoner MET informasjon for TMA operasjoner MET informasjon for Airport operasjoner MET informasjon for Network operasjoner MET informasjon for Flight and Wing Operations Centres
