VDI - Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Common for all project participants Design software (CAD) on VDI opens up for real digital collaboration Single point of entry. Available from everywhere regardless of platform. Central management of software and updates. Automatic exchange of BIM files. Daily IFC exchanges, at least, sometimes much more frequent. Saves substantial amount of time Down to seven minutes from new design to automatically updated file in Jotne BIM-server. Drawback: When the VDI is down - it affects all designers.
