Goals Create innovative applications that will enable operation and control of the Nordic power grid more reliably and with better information about security margins. Develop a research platform comprised by a power systems emulator (software and hardware labs), PMUs, PDCs and specialized software. Develop a set of software interfaces allowing PMUdata application development, and implementation.
Project Approach and Major Deliverables: A common real-time data infrastructure PMUs, PDCs and other HW installed at LV network to exchange real-time data RT data exchange over public internet A Nordic PMU Data Applications Software Platform A common SW platform for prototyping of new applications New application prototypes Testing at TSOs Set-up hardware laboratories for application development and testing of PMU applications Labs at NTNU, KTH and DTU.
