Forsikringsselskapene merker at det i sommer har vært mange grunnstøtinger rundt Hitra og Frøya. Og i dag tidlig skrev hitra-frøya.no om redningsmannskapene på skøyta "Horn Flyer" i Fillan, som har satt stasjonsrekord i antall nautiske rednings-mil i sommer. Og midt på dagen i dag (lørdag) kom meldinga om nok en grunnstøting, denne gang utenfor Kjerringvåg. En båt sto da på skjæret med to-tre personer ombord, ifølge lokalavisas tipser. Politiet har ikke meldt om personskader iforbindelse med grunnstøtinga. - Av skademeldingene vi får inn, ser vi at det er mange grunnstøtinger rundt Hitra og Frøya. Også Hellandsjøen og ned mot Aure er gjengangere, fortalte kommunikasjonssjef Pål Rune Eklo i Gjensidige til lokalavisa tidliger i sommer. - Vi vet at flere av de mer alvorlige ulykkene med fritidsbåt skjer på grunn av høy fart, lite kjennskap til området de ferdes i, eller at båtfører er påvirket av alkohol i verste fall en kombinasjon av alt dette, sier Pål Rune Eklo. Med dårlig kart- og navigeringskunnskap, påpeker han at risikoen øker betraktelig for at noe skal skje. May 2017: The vessel Yara Birkeland will be the world s first fully electric and autonomous container ship, with zero emissions. With this vessel, Yara will reduce diesel-powered truck haulage by 40,000 journeys a year.
