KVM MATRIX SWITCHES Our matrix switches enable switching between various sources and remote consoles. Any connected console consisting of keyboard, pointing device, display and other peripherals can access any connected computer within the network. KVM EXTENDERS With KVM extenders, users can relocate their computers at longer distances than standard cabling interconnects allow. In contrast to IP based solutions that have switching times of up to seconds, the Draco tera switches within milliseconds. Flex-Port Technology Flex-Port technology offers a totally flexible configuration of all ports. Each port can be used as either a port (connection to a computer) or as a CON port (connection to a console) and it can be switched according to the requirements. FILTER TOP System redundancy IHSE offers an exceptional fully-redundant KVM system architecture, including redundant interconnections from the (source end) to the matrix switch to the redundant (workstation end). In the case of an interconnection failure the redundant link ensures continuous and uninterrupted communication between the and : transmission faults are automatically detected and indicated. Based on a small footprint package, the cost effective frame can be used with all of the Draco extender modules creating the world s widest selection of KVM solutions. It is a simple operation to set up and configure the matrix with the On Screen Display (OSD) or through the feature-enhanced Draco tera tool. Extenders can accommodate a variety of signal formats and the Draco tera compact auto-senses the individual units through any available port on the chassis. By simply connecting the extender to the chassis, the internal firmware will recognize and auto-configure the port as a or console device. SDI video signals (up to 3G-SDI) input into an SDI extender are made available to KVM CON units, directly or through a Draco tera KVM matrix switch, for connection to, HDMI or DisplayPort monitors. An SDI CON unit is also able to convert digital video signals for display on an SDI monitor. Video scalability and deinterlacing Video scaling and deinterlacing is included in the SDI Extender, enabling conversion as required, between 720p50/60 or 1080i50/60 SDI video streams and digital formats, including 1080p, 1600x900 or 1920x1200. This ensures that the appropriate video resolution is available to suit the connected monitor. SFP options offer flexibility For greatest flexibility in application, the SDI extender board can be equipped with two Coax SFP modules, each with two channels.
