UNC MODEL:
INFORMATION MODEL Transformers Device which converts a set of voltage and current to another set of voltage and current, by means of galvanically separate windings around a common magnetic core Context: Transformers are used as a power flow conversion bridge between electrically (galvanically) separate networks, most often on different system voltage levels, but also on the same system voltage level. More: Sites and installations where a transformer is installed, are in most cases called stations (substation, net station, transformer station, or similar).
INFORMATION MODEL Structures in the grid?
UNC MODEL Pole is a column or post used to support overhead utility wires/pipes/lines. A pole can be constructed to carry equipment such as transformers, switching equipment or street lights. The UNC model allow Pole to be represented with a point feature. Note: A pole can be regarded as a composite structure grouping e.g. columns, cross arms and cross braces. When needed columns, cross arms and cross braces can be described individually with asset types from the Pole support asset group. In this case the pole can act as a container grouping the detailed parts.
