3 1 Patentkrav 1. Reologisk stabil, vandig mineralmaterialsuspensjon omfattende a) minst ett mineralmateriale, og b) minst én polymer av akryl- og/eller metakrylsyre, hvori den minst ene polymeren av akryl- og/eller metakrylsyre oppnås ved polymerisering av akryl- og/eller metakrylsyremonomer(er) i vann ved anvendelse av en forbindelse med formel (I) 1 2 hvori X representerer Li, Na, K eller H, og R representerer en alkylkjede omfattende 1 til karbonatomer, og hvori forbindelsen med formel (I) anvendes i en mengde på 0,1 til 2, vekt-%, basert på vekten til momomeren(e); har en molekylvekt M w på fra 800 til 8000 g/mol; har en polydispersitetsindeks I p i området fra 2 til 3; og hvori den vandige mineralmaterialsuspensjonen har et innhold av flyktige organiske forbindelser (VOC) på mg/kg. 2. Den vandige suspensjonen ifølge krav 1, hvori mineralmaterialet er valgt fra kalsiumkarbonatinneholdende mineral slik som naturlig kalsiumkarbonat, syntetisk kalsiumkarbonat, overflatemodifisert kalsiumkarbonat og fyllstoffer inneholdende kalsiumkarbonater, slik som dolomitt eller blandede karbonatbaserte fyllstoffer av slikt som blandinger med leire eller talkum eller blandinger med syntetiske eller naturlige fibre; og fra talkum, glimmer, titandioksid, bentonitt, magnesittsatenghvitt, sepiolitt, huntitt, diatomitter, silikater og blandinger derav Den vandige suspensjonen ifølge krav 2, hvori mengden av kalsiumkarbonat i det kalsiumkarbonatinneholdende materialet er minst 80 vekt-%, foretrukket minst 9 vekt-%, mer foretrukket mellom 97 og 0 vekt-% og mest foretrukket mellom 98, og 99,9 vekt-%, basert på det kalsiumkarbonatinneholdende materialets totalvekt.

Den vandige suspensjonen ifølge et hvilket som helst av kravene 1 til 3, hvori mineralmaterialet er valgt fra gruppen omfattende naturlig kalsiumkarbonat (GCC) slik som marmor, kritt, kalkstein og/eller kalsitt; utfelt kalsiumkarbonat (PCC) slik som aragonittisk PCC, vaterittisk PCC og/eller kalsittisk PCC, særlig prismatisk, romboedrisk eller skalenoedrisk PCC og blandinger derav.. Den vandige suspensjonen ifølge et hvilket som helst av kravene 1 til 4, hvori den vandige suspensjonen har et faststoffinnhold fra til 82 vekt-%, foretrukket fra 4 til 82 vekt-%, mer foretrukket fra 60 til 78 vekt-% og mest foretrukket fra 70 til 78 vekt-%, basert på den vandige suspensjonens totalvekt Den vandige suspensjonen ifølge et hvilket som helst av kravene 1 eller, hvori mineralmaterialet har en vektmedianpartikkelstørrelse d 0 fra 0,1 til 0 µm, foretrukket fra 0,2 til 0 µm, mer foretrukket fra 0,3 til µm og mest foretrukket fra 0,4 til 3,0 µm Den vandige suspensjonen ifølge et hvilket som helst av kravene 1 til 6, hvori den vandige suspensjonen har en ph fra 7 til 12, foretrukket fra 7, til 11 og mer foretrukket fra 8, til. 8. Den vandige suspensjonen ifølge et hvilket som helst av kravene 1 til 8, hvori den vandige mineralmaterialsuspensjonen har et innhold av flyktige organiske forbindelser (VOC) på < mg/kg, foretrukket < 1 mg/kg, mer foretrukket < 0,2 mg/kg. 3. Den vandige suspensjonen ifølge et hvilket som helst av kravene 1 til 9, hvori den minst ene polymeren av akryl- og/eller metakrylsyre har et innhold av frie svovelatominneholdende delprodukter på ikke mer enn 0,1 mol-%. 11. Den vandige suspensjonen ifølge krav, hvori den minst ene polymeren av akryl- og/eller metakrylsyre ikke inneholder mer enn 0,1 mol-% av delprodukt

Den vandige suspensjonen ifølge et hvilket som helst av kravene 1 til 11, hvori den minst ene polymeren av akryl- og/eller metakrylsyre finnes i en mengde fra 0,01 til 3,0 vekt-%, mer foretrukket fra 0,2 til 2,0 vekt-% og mest foretrukket fra 0,2 til 1, vekt-% eller fra 0, til 1,2 vekt-%. 13. Den vandige suspensjonen ifølge et hvilket som helst av kravene 1 til 12, hvori den minst ene polymeren av akryl- og/eller metakrylsyre finnes i en mengde slik at den oppnådde vandige suspensjonen har en viskositet mellom 2 og 4000 mpa s målt ved C, foretrukket mellom til 00 mpa s målte ved C og mest foretrukket mellom 3 til 00 mpa s målt ved C Fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av en reologisk stabil, vandig mineralmaterialsuspensjon omfattende trinnene å a) tilveiebringe minst ett mineralmateriale, b) tilveiebringe vann, c) tilveiebringe en vandig løsning av minst én polymer av akryl- og/eller metakrylsyre, som oppnås ved polymerisering av akryl- og/eller metakrylsyremonomer(er) i vann ved anvendelse av en forbindelse med formelen (I) 2 hvori X representerer Li, Na, K eller H, og R representerer en alkylkjede omfattende 1 til karbonatomer, og hvori forbindelsen med formel (I) anvendes i en mengde på 0,1 til 2, vekt-%, basert på vekten til momomeren(e); har en molekylvekt M w på fra 800 til 8000 g/mol; har en polydispersitetsindeks I p i området fra 2 til 3; d) blande mineralmaterialet i trinn a) med vannet i trinn b), e) blande den vandige løsningen av minst én polymer i trinn c) med mineralmaterialet før og/eller under og/eller etter trinn d);

6 4 hvori den endelige vandige mineralmaterialsuspensjonen har et innhold av flyktige organiske forbindelser (VOC) på mg/kg. 1. Fremgangsmåten ifølge krav 14, hvori mineralmaterialet er valgt fra kalsiumkarbonatinneholdende mineral slik som naturlig kalsiumkarbonat, syntetisk kalsiumkarbonat, overflatemodifisert kalsiumkarbonat og fyllstoffer inneholdende kalsiumkarbonater, slik som dolomitt eller blandede karbonatbaserte fyllstoffer av slikt som blandinger med leire eller talkum eller blandinger med syntetiske eller naturlige fibre; og fra talkum, glimmer, titandioksid, bentonitt, magnesittsatenghvitt, sepiolitt, huntitt, diatomitter, silikater og blandinger derav Fremgangsmåten ifølge krav 1, hvori mengden av kalsiumkarbonat i det kalsiumkarbonatinneholdende materialet er minst 80 vekt-%, foretrukket minst 9 vekt-%, mer foretrukket mellom 97 og 0 vekt-% og mest foretrukket mellom 98, og 99,9 vekt-%, basert på det kalsiumkarbonatinneholdende materialets totalvekt. 17. Fremgangsmåten ifølge et hvilket som helst av kravene 14 til 16, hvori mineralmaterialet er valgt fra gruppen omfattende naturlig kalsiumkarbonat (GCC) slik som marmor, kritt, kalkstein og/eller kalsitt; utfelt kalsiumkarbonat (PCC) slik som aragonittisk PCC, vaterittisk PCC og/eller kalsittisk PCC, særlig prismatisk, romboedrisk eller skalenoedrisk PCC og blandinger derav Fremgangsmåten ifølge et hvilket som helst av kravene 14 til 17, hvori den minst ene polymeren av akryl- og/eller metakrylsyre oppnås ved polymerisering av akryl- og/eller metakrylsyremonomer(er) i vann ved anvendelse av en forbindelse med formel (I) i en mengde på 0,1 til 1, vekt-% basert på vekten til momomeren(e). 19. Fremgangsmåten ifølge et hvilket som helst av kravene 14 til 18, hvori den vandige mineralmaterialsuspensjonen har et innhold av flyktige organiske forbindelser (VOC) på < mg/kg, foretrukket < 1 mg/kg, mer foretrukket < 0,2 mg/kg.. Fremgangsmåten ifølge et hvilket som helst av kravene 14 til 19, hvori vannet i trinn b) forvarmes før det blandes med mineralmaterialet i trinn d).
