WP 2018-2020 BOUNDARY CONDITIONS 1. Greater impact, by developing a mission-oriented approach Better linkage from topic, to call, to programme objectives Expected impacts at topic level relate to the mission 2. Simplifying the Work Programme Clear, unambiguous and understandable language Challenge-based topics, clear & not prescriptive in solutions & methodology. Avoid lengthy 'scope' sections. Aim for 50% reduction in the length of text/50% reduction in number of topics 3. Reducing over-subscription Generally, try to better match supply to demand. Go for broad (but well defined) topics, with budgets to match No one-proposal-per-topic situations (except CSAs; some large scale Innovation Actions)
