That simply cannot be true. My info clearly states I like an eager and forward going horse. I got exactly the opposite, a very heavy horse with the worst canter moves I ever encountered. I have ridden 20-30 trails over the years with different companies and always new horses, and never was dissatisfied. The horse I got was perhaps a good and steady horse for a new-beginner, but as far from what I described as possible. Nice character, but... The horse is the most important for me on a riding holiday. My holiday was this way spoilt, no riding pleasure. The horse was last days changed to a twin regarding looks, moves and behaviour and without my consent and knowledge. This hardly worked better, except for a few fast gallops the last day after lunch. Why not change for a good one, if one wants to please the customer?
Also it seemed the regulars had chosen the best horses for themselves beforehand. Mig never did any intervju otherwise, to chose horses for us, the others. The whole affair was disrespectful and neglective. A pity because otherwise Mig is a good guide, and always helpful. In what ways could we improve the way in which we handled your booking and payment? I, and other of the clients, do not appreciate the effort as per your brochure, to give tips... even if you say it is voluntary and just a suggest. It seems to be in the order of things, as it should be.. Think we pay enough already. Any other comments or memories to your holiday? The holiday was saved due to a couple of good friends joining. All riders in the group were very good riders. The weather was not it best, and of course influence the pace one can have.. With my unpleasant horse I did not really miss the tempo. Nice visit to the stud farm. The landscape was a little more monotonous than I expected, fields and fields and fields of olive trees...fairly flat, but of course nice spring flowers and in the sunny days nice. Every little thing is well planned and I think we get quite spoiled on these trails. I thoroughly enjoyed riding the horse I was matched with - again. This was the third time on this trail for some of us and so the pace and terrain was known - but it still is an amazing nature and scenery for riding! ACCOMMODATION How did you find the standard of the food? satisfied Satisfied Neutral Unsatisfied Beautiful B&B places 5 out of 7 nights and a good and practical hotel the other 2 nights (which was also renovated nicely since our last visit there). The food is always great in Portugal, and they cater so well for me who has Coeliac disease both where we stay and during lunch. I would appreciate more water bottles on the saddle when very hot, sunny weather. The hotel was not so special. If possible, I wouldn t mind staying at the two farms only, and not the hotel (I suppose it would be easy enough to shuttle the people by bus/car as the total area in which we were riding is not that big)

We stayed at three different places, and moved around a lot, it would be preferred to move less between accommodations so that you don t have to pack your suitcase every day.
