A FIRST CLASS HOTEL IN THE NORWEGIAN FJORDS For over 125 years our home has been located between towering mountains, beneath blue-green glaciers and along the long and deep fjords, and our doors have been open to guests for the same length of time. Our guests include visitors who, for various reasons, are seeking shelter, good food and a feeling of natural comfort. When Anders Markusson Loen opened the hotel in 1884 he was able to accommodate 20 guests. Since that time the hotel has been renovated and extended many times, but it is still being run by the same family and all its employees. 2 3
