Blue Devil ISP Sports Network A state-wide radio audience follows all the action of Duke football on The Blue Devil ISP Sports Network. The one-hour tailgate show is hosted by John Roth. Two-time Broadcaster of the Year Bob Harris, the voice of the Blue Devils for the past 33 seasons, calls all the action for Duke fans each game. He was inducted into the Stanly County (N.C.) Sports Hall of Fame in 1993 and the Sports Hall of Fame in 2006. Analyst Wes Chesson joins Harris in the booth each game and is in his 30th season providing color commentary for Duke games. Chesson, an All-ACC receiver at Duke from 1968-70, still holds fi ve school receiving records, hauling in 164 catches for 2,399 yards during his playing days. Blue Devils Offense In A Groove Over the last fi ve games, Duke is averaging 434.8 yards of total offense per game, including 348.4 passing yards per contest. State Duke tallied 502 yards of total offense in its last game against N.C. State with 459 passing yards and 43 rushing yards. Entering the game, the Hokies defense was allowing 325.5 total yards and just 160.5 passing yards per game. Tech also had allowed just one passing touchdown and an ACC-low pass effi ciency of 84.9 in its fi rst four games. Last week the Blue Devils allowed just 67 yards on 31 carries (2.2 avg.) to a Maryland team that averaged 100.7 yards per game coming in. Duke limited N.C. Central to 70 rushing yards on 28 attempts. The Eagles averaged just 2.5 yards per carry with 11 carries going for either no gain or negative yardage. Last season the Blue Devils also held two teams under 100 yards rushing, Northwestern and Vanderbilt. Defense Posts Big Second Half at N.C. State The Blue Devils only allowed one touchdown in the second half at N.C. State on a kickoff return while forcing four turnovers to lead to a win. The Wolfpack only managed 74 yards of total offense (29 rush and 45 pass) against the stingy Duke defense. The four turnovers matched a season high for the Blue Devils. They also posted four takeaways at Army. It marks the seventh time in 18 games under Cutcliffe that Duke has caused three or more turnovers with four or more in four contests. Stingy Defense Duke held N.C. Central to less than 200 yards of total offense and allowed just one offensive touchdown. The Eagles managed just 70 rushing yards and 111 passing yards for a total of 181 yards on the day. The last time the Blue Devils held an opponent under 200 yards of total offense was Sept. 6, 2003, against Western Carolina - 185 yards (4 rush, 181 pass).

Back-to-Back 100 Tackle Seasons Rey is one of only four active linebackers in the nation to record 100 or more tackles in each of the past two seasons. He was also selected the ACC Defensive Back of the Week and the Ronald McDonald Duke Student Athlete of the Week for his performance. Wright Has Big Game Wright sealed Duke s second half come-from-behind win over Army by setting a school single-game record with two interception returns for touchdowns. The touchdown returns (51 & 33 yards, respectfully) came just 16 seconds apart in the fourth quarter and on consecutive offensive snaps for the Black Knights. Wright added one fumble recovery for three total takeaways on the afternoon and also contributed four tackles and one PBU.
