5 PHASE 1 ASSEMBLY 1.2 CARGO RACK ASSEMBLY Slide carriage bolts on the bottom face of the crossbars. NOTE: The track plug must be removed from the underneath of the front crossbar, and reinstalled after the feet have been installed in the final position, see DRIVER SIDE Front crossbar Slide 2 pcs. of 1" carriage bolts. PASSENGER SIDE Front crossbar Slide 2 pcs. of 1" carriage bolts. Rear crossbar Slide 2 pcs. of 1" carriage bolts. HARDWARE USED 4 # Carriage Bolt 5/16" 1" SS304 Rear crossbar Slide 2 pcs. of 1" carriage bolts. 7 PHASE 2 INSTALLATION 2.1 MOUNTING TRACKS INSTALLATION Remove existing plugs on the vehicle roof holes. Use a tap ( M ) to remove the excess dirt/paint in the holes of the van. Apply a bead of silicone around each hole, then fasten the tracks to the roof. Rear Front Front TOOLS q Cordless Impact q 1/2" Socket FASTENERS USED 6 # Hex Bolt M8 35 # Lock Washer TIPS: It s easier to put the bolts, lock washers, flat washers and spacers on the tracks, first, then install the tracks to the roof. 8 PHASE 2 INSTALLATION 2.2 CARGO RACK INSTALLATION Position the front and rear crossbars ( minimum two persons ) on the vehicle so that the feet are on the mounting tracks. Cargo Rack For technical support, contact us at FTR Installation Guide REV. B1 Page 8

9 2.2.2 Make sure the crossbars are parallel to each other at the desired distance apart, then attach all the C feet to the mounting tracks. 10 2.2.3 Center the crossbars on the vehicle, then tighten all the C feet to the crossbars. IMPORTANT: Place the cargo rack warning label on a visible area, recommended on a partition. TOOLS q Ratchet q 1/2" Socket For technical support, contact us at FTR Installation Guide REV. B1 Page 10
