ESAM Smoke control damper for multi Rectangular smoke control damper ESAM is specifically designed for use in multi fire compartment applications as a closing or as an opening damper for smoke extract purposes. ESAM meets the European product standard EN 12101-8 requirements for multi compartment applications and is CE marked. The product has been tested according to EN 1366-10 fulfilling fire class EI 120S / EI 90S with pressure class 1000 Pa. ESAM dampers are suitable both for automatic operation by fire alarm activated systems (AA) and by manual operation by fire fighter activated systems (MA, installed in the duct). A factory mounted electrical actuator is placed inside a fire resistant calciumsilicate box. It is important to ensure that all connections into the calciumsilicate box are made with fire-rated cable. An electrical actuator changes the damper position from open or close with a transfer time of no more than 60s. If the electricity is cut off, the damper blade will remain in its position. Smoke control damper has two safe positions open or closed Smoke control damper is activated to transfer to safety position automatically by smoke detection or manually by switch used by fire fighters Electrical actuator has 2 free auxiliary switches for open / close position indication Smoke control damper ESAM is always delivered with a factory mounted electrical actuator 24 V or 230 V. The casing and blade of ESAM are made of calcium-silicate plate.
