Using the MX18 is recommended when the temperature from the heat source can surpass the desired temperature for the central heating system. This is often the case when using solar- or bio-power. The MX will use the colder return water to reduce the flow temperature to the central heating system as shown. The Fix units are suitable for wet systems, under floor heating up to 15kW & radiators up to 30 kw. Fix provides trouble free and fast assembly for the installer, who only needs to connect flow / return from the system. PV 12 is primarily designed for heat pumps while the MX 18 can be used to provide heat to low temperature heating systems from solar energy captured in Solarcyl cylinders. The Fix units also provide for seamless design and insulated components, reducing heat loss. Fix is suitable for all OSO indirect units.
