3 1 PATENTKRAV 1. Kombinert innovasjonkodebok-koderinnretning for en CELP lydkoder, omfattende: en prekvantiserer av en første adaptiv-kodebok eksitasjonsrest, prekvantisereren operer i transformdomene; og en CELP innovasjonkodebokmodul påvirkelig av en andre eksitasjonsrest fremstilt fra den første adaptiv-kodebok eksitasjonsresten. 2. Kombinert innovasjonkodebok-koderinnretning i henhold til krav 1, der den første adaptive-kodebok eksitasjonsresten oppnås ved å subtrahere et adaptiv kodebok bidrag fra en LP rest. 3. Kombinert innovasjonkodebok-koderinnretning i henhold til krav 1 eller 2, der pre- kvantisereren omfatter en kalkulator av en transform av den første adaptive-kodebok eksitasjonsresten til frekvensdomenet. 4. Kombinert innovasjonkodebok-koderinnretning i henhold til krav 3, der pre- kvantisereren omfatter en kvantisering av den transformerte første adaptiv-kodebok eksitasjonsresten. 20. Kombinert innovasjonkodebok-koderinnretning i henhold til hvilket som helst av kravene 1 til 7, der prekvantisereren kun kvantiserer frekvensdomenetransformkoeffisienter som har en energi overstigende en spesifisert terskelverdi, slik at spektraldynamikken til den andre eksitasjonsresten reduseres eller holdes innenfor et ønsket område. 9. Kombinert innovasjonkodebok-koderinnretning i henhold til hvilket som helst av kravene 4 til 8, der kvantisereren kun koder transformkoeffisienter relatert til lavere frekvenser avhengig av et tilgjengelig bit-budsjett.. CELP koder omfattende den kombinerte innovasjonkodebok-koderinnretning i henhold til hvilket som helst av kravene 1 til Kombinert innovasjonkodebok for en CELP lydekoder, omfattende: en dekvantiserer av prekvantiserte kodingsparametre til et første innovasjoneksitasjonsbidrag, der a) dekvantisereren omfatter en inverstransformkalkulator påvirkelig av kodingsparametrene, b) dekvantisereren omfatter en dekoder for å dekvantisere de prekvantiserte kodingsparametrene, c) inverstransformkalkulatoren er påvirkelig av de dekvantiserte kodingsparametrene, og d) dekvantisereren omfatter et avbetoningsfilter 20 forsynt med de inverstransformerte, dekvantiserte kodingsparametrene for å fremstille det første innovasjoneksitasjonsbidraget; og en CELP innovasjon-kodebok struktur påvirkelig av CELP innovasjon-kodebok parametre for å fremstille et annet innovasjoneksitasjonsbidrag CELP dekoder omfattende den kombinerte innovasjonkodeboken i henhold til krav Kombinert innovasjonkodebok-kodingsfremgangsmåte for en CELP lydkoder, omfattende å: 30 prekvantisere et første adaptiv-kodebok eksitasjonsbidrag, prekvantiseringen utføres i transformdomenet; og søke en CELP innovasjon-kodebok som svar på en andre eksitasjonsrest fremstilt fra den første adaptiv-kodebok eksitasjonsresten Kombinert innovasjonkodebok-kodingsfremgangsmåte i henhold til krav 13, omfattende å oppnå den første adaptiv-kodebok eksitasjonsresten ved å subtrahere et adaptiv kodebok bidrag fra en LP-rest.

Kombinert innovasjonkodebok-kodingsfremgangsmåte i henhold til krav 13 eller 14, der å prekvantisere den første adaptiv-kodebok eksitasjonsresten omfatter å beregne en transform av den første adaptiv-kodebok eksitasjonsresten til frekvensdomenet. 16. Kombinert innovasjonkodebok-kodingsfremgangsmåte i henhold til krav, der å prekvantisere den første adaptiv-kodebok eksitasjonsresten omfatter å kvantisere den transformerte første adaptiv-kodebok eksitasjonsresten. 17. Kombinert innovasjonkodebok-kodingsfremgangsmåte i henhold til krav eller 16, ytterligere omfattende å forbetoningsfiltrere den første adaptiv-kodebok eksistasjonsresten forutfor å beregne transformen av den første adaptiv-kodebok eksitasjonsresten. 18. Kombinert innovasjonkodebok-kodingsfremgangsmåte i henhold til krav 17, der å forbetoningsfiltrere omfatter å betone lave frekvenser av den første adaptiv-kodebok eksitasjonsresten Kombinert innovasjonkodebok-kodingsfremgangsmåte i henhold til hvilket som helst av kravene 16 til 18, omfattende å beregne en inverstransform av den kvantiserte og transformerte første adaptiv-kodebok eksitasjonsresten, å avbetoningsfiltrere den inverstransformerte adaptiv-kodebok eksitasjonsresten for å fremstille et tidsdomenebidrag, og å subtrahere tidsdomenebidraget fra et adaptiv-kodebok bidrag for å fremstille den andre eksitasjonsresten Kombinert innovasjonkodebok-kodingsfremgangsmåte i henhold til hvilket som helst av kravene 13 til 19, der å prekvantisere den første adaptiv-kodebok eksitasjonsresten omfatter å kun prekvantisere frekvensdomenetransformkoeffisienter som har en energi overstigende en spesifisert terskelverdi, slik at spektraldynamikken til 30 den andre eksitasjonsresten reduseres eller holdes innenfor et ønsket område. 21. Kombinert innovasjonkodebok-kodingsfremgangsmåte i henhold til hvilket som helst av kravene 16 til 20, der å kvantisere den transformerte første adaptiv-kodebok eksitasjonsresten omfatter å kun kode transformkoeffisienter relatert til lavere 3 frekvenser avhengig av et bit-budsjett.

Kombinert innovasjonkodebok-dekodingsfremgangsmåte for en CELP lyddekoder, omfattende: å dekvantisere prekvantiserte kodingsparametre til et første innovasjoneksitasjonsbidrag, der a) å dekvantisere de prekvantiserte kodingsparametrene omfatter å beregne en inverstransform av kodingsparametrene, b) å dekvantisere de prekvantiserte kodingsparametrene omfatter å dekode de prekvantiserte kodingsparametrene for å fremstille dekvantiserte kodingsparametre, c) å beregne en inverstransform av kodingsparametrene omfatter å beregne inverstransformen av de dekvantiserte kodingsparametrene, og d) fremgangsmåten omfatter å avbetoningsfiltrere de inverstranformerte, dekvantiserte kodingsparametrene for å fremstille det første innovasjoneksitasjonsbidraget; og anvende CELP innovasjon-kodebok parametre på en CELP innovasjon-kodebok struktur for å fremstille et andre innovasjoneksitasjonsbidrag. 23. Kombinert innovasjonkodebok-dekodingsfremgangsmåte i henhold til krav 22, der å dekode de prekvantiserte kodingsparametrene omfatter å AVQ-dekode de prekvantiserte kodingsparametrenene.
