4 AVVERTENZE Si raccomanda di leggere attentamente tutto il manuale prima di installare ed utilizzare lasciugabiancheria. In tal modo essa funzioner correttamente e verr utilizzata al meglio. Tutti coloro che usano lapparecchio devono conoscere tutte le norme di sicurezza. Conservare il manuale ed allegarlo sempre allapparecchio in caso di vendita o trasloco. Installazione ed assistenza Lasciugabiancheria destinata esclusivamente allasciugatura di biancheria domestica e deve essere utilizzata in conformit a quanto riportato nel presente manuale istruzioni. Il mancato rispetto di tale avvertenza pu provocare danni alle persone ed alle cose. Non sovraccaricare lapparecchio (vedi tabella programmi). Pericolo di esplosione: non asciugare biancheria lavata con solventi infiammabili (benzina, alcool, smacchiatori) poich queste sostanze sono volatili e possono provocare unesplosione. Asciugare esclusivamente biancheria lavata con acqua. Linstallazione ed eventuali interventi, ad es. modifiche del cavo di alimentazione della macchina, devono essere eseguite da personale autorizzato. Eventuali interventi eseguiti da personale non autorizzato possono danneggiare il prodotto nonch provocare danni a persone e cose. Le operazioni di assistenza e riparazione devono essere eseguite esclusivamente da un centro di assistenza autorizzato dal produttore. Non tentare di riparare autonomamente la macchina. Controllare che la macchina non poggi sul cavo di alimentazione. Se lasciugabiancheria deve essere installata sopra una lavatrice, obbligatorio usare il kit di sovrapposizione (accessorio opzionale). Utilizzo dellasciugabiancheria Non permettere ai bambini di giocare con la macchina o toccare i comandi. vietato asciugare i seguenti oggetti nellasciugabiancheria: - Cuscini, piumini e simili (accumulano calore). - Biancheria contenente parti in gommapiuma o materiali simili. - Scarpe di tela o da ginnastica. Possono rimanere bloccate tra la porta ed il cestello, bloccando questultimo. Lasciare socchiusa la porta quando non si utilizza lapparecchio al fine di non deformarne la guarnizione. Il filtro per filacci deve essere pulito dopo ogni asciugatura. Non utilizzare mai la macchina se il filtro non al suo posto oppure danneggiato. Smaltimento dellasciugabiancheria Il materiale contrassegnato con il simbolo pu essere riciclato e deve essere consegnato ad un idoneo centro di raccolta. Durante lasciugatura, il pannello posteriore ed il cestello raggiungono temperature elevate. Pertanto, non toccare le suddette parti. Prestare particolare attenzione affinch i bambini non si avvicinino alla macchina durante il funzionamento. Animali domestici o bambini possono introdursi allinterno del cestello; accertarsi sempre che il cestello sia vuoto prima di utilizzare lasciugabiancheria. Vi chiediamo di collaborare alla tutela dellambiente anche quando giunto il momento di gettare lasciugabiancheria. Disinserire il cavo di alimentazione dalla presa e troncarlo alluscita della macchina. Per informazioni sui centri di raccolta autorizzati, rivolgersi alle autorit locali oppure ad un centro di assistenza. 4

6 DESCRIZIONE DEL PANNELLO DI COMANDO Contenitore dellacqua Durante lasciugatura lacqua di condensa si raccoglie nel contenitore. Per lo svuotamento, vedere il cap. Pulizia. Importante: Se durante il ciclo di asciugatura la tanica si riempie completamente, la rispettiva lampada spia si accende, indicando che la tanica deve essere svuotata. Il selettore tempi di asciugatura continuer a ruotare portandosi progressivamente sullo O, ma lasciugatura non avr luogo. In tal caso, dopo aver svuotato la tanica, selezionare nuovamente il ciclo di asciugatura per il tempo necessario a raggiungere il grado di asciugatura desiderato. Attenzione: Dopo tale operazione, lasciugabiancheria pu rimanere alcuni minuti ferma, con la spia tanica accesa, prima di iniziare a funzionare. 2. Schema programmi Per ulteriori informazioni, vedere tabella programmi. 3. Pulsante di apertura della porta Premendo questo pulsante si apre la porta. Qualora la porta venga aperta durante lasciugatura, la macchina si ferma. Premere il pulsante di avviamento per continuare lasciugatura. 4. Pulsante asciugatura delicata Premendo questo tasto lasciugatura viene effettuata a temperatura ridotta. Da utilizzarsi nellasciugatura di biancheria delicata di lino o cotone. 6. Spia indicatrice contenitore dellacqua pieno Si accende quando il contenitore dellacqua pieno o non ben inserito. 7. Selettore tempi di asciugatura Selezionare il tempo desiderato ruotando il selettore verso destra. Non cercare mai di ruotarlo verso sinistra, potreste danneggiarne il meccanismo. Potete scegliere fra due programmi di asciugatura: cotone, lino (2000 W), minuti sintetici (1400 W), minuti Il tempo di asciugatura dipende dal tipo e quantit di biancheria, dal grado di umidit residua dopo la centrifuga e dal livello di asciugatura desiderato. Fase di raffreddamento Il programma di asciugatura termina con una fase di raffreddamento della durata di 10 minuti. Durante questa fase, le resistenze sono disinserite e la biancheria viene raffreddata. La fase di raffreddamento non deve essere abbreviata o interrotta. Se viene lasciata biancheria calda nel cestello, si sgualcisce e pu subire danni permanenti. 8. Spia di funzionamento Si accende quando inizia il programma e si spegne a fine ciclo. 5. Pulsante di avviamento Premerlo per avviare il programma. Attenzione! Se si apre la porta in fase di asciugatura, la macchina si ferma. Ripremere il pulsante per continuare il programma. 6

8 COME UTILIZZARE LASCIUGABIANCHERIA Prima di utilizzare la macchina per la prima volta: Allinterno di unasciugabiancheria nuova pu essere presente polvere o sporcizia. Mettere qualche panno umido e pulito nella macchina ed asciugare per circa 20 minuti. 1. Caricare la biancheria Aprire la porta premendo lapposito pulsante. Caricare la biancheria centrifugata senza compattarla. Chiudere la porta, assicurandosi che la biancheria non ne impedisca la chiusura. 2. Selezionare il tempo di asciugatura Ruotare il selettore verso destra sul tempo prescelto: la spia di funzionamento si accende Premere il pulsante se desiderato M Avviare il programma Premere il pulsante, la macchina inizia a funzionare. Per annullare un programma in corso, ruotare il selettore sullo 0: dopo aver selezionato il nuovo programma, ripremere il pulsante. 5. Fine del programma Alla fine del programma la macchina si ferma automaticamente e la spia di funzionamento si spegne. Il selettore ritorna sullo 0. Aprire la porta e ritirare la biancheria. P0885 Importante: Ricordarsi di pulire il filtro e svuotare il contenitore dellacqua dopo ogni ciclo di asciugatura. 8

9 CONSIGLI IMPORTANTI PER LUTILIZZO DELLASCIUGABIANCHERIA Suddividere e preparare la biancheria prima dellasciugatura Suddividere la biancheria in base al tipo di tessuto (vedere le etichette dei singoli capi) ed al livello di asciugatura desiderato. Chiudere le cerniere lampo ed annodare i lacci. I lacci di copripiumini e federe devono essere annodati per evitare che piccoli indumenti si raccolgano allinterno di essi. Non asciugare Tessuti particolarmente delicati quali tende in fibre sintetiche, seta e calze di nylon. Indumenti che contengono gommapiuma o materiali simili. Indumenti di lana o misto-lana, poich si infeltriscono e si restringono. Non asciugare articoli trattati con liquidi infiammabili (benzina, alcool, smacchiatori) al fine di prevenire il pericolo di incendio. Tessuti inamidati Questa asciugabiancheria pu asciugare anche tessuti inamidati. Per ottenere i migliori risultati, selezionare un tempo umido da stiro con umidit residua. Al termine del ciclo, pulire il cestello prima con un panno umido, quindi con un panno asciutto per eliminare i residui di amido. Restringimento Taluni tessuti (ad esempio la maglieria) si restringono facilmente in misura pi o meno evidente. Ci dipende dal fatto che, allinterno della macchina, gli indumenti sono asciugati in sospensione, mentre solitamente si asciugano appesi. Evitare unasciugatura eccessiva di questi capi. Selezionare il programma umido da stiro. Cosa sono i filacci? Quando si comincia ad usare la macchina, ci si meraviglia della quantit di filacci che si raccoglie nellapposito filtro. Questo fenomeno normale e non significa che lasciugabiancheria rovina la biancheria. Durante luso ed il lavaggio a mano o in lavatrice, fili e filacci si staccano dallindumento, ma rimangono attaccati sulla sua superficie. Quando gli indumenti vengono asciugati allaperto, i filacci volano via; in macchina, invece, si raccolgono nel filtro e vengono gonfiati dal calore. Consumo di energia e tempo Consumo di energia e tempo di asciugatura dipendono dalla quantit, dallumidit residua dopo la centrifuga, dalla misura degli indumenti, dal tipo di tessuto e dal livello di asciugatura. Sovraccaricando lasciugabiancheria si ottengono mediocri risultati di asciugatura ed indumenti sgualciti. Per ridurre i consumi energetici ed abbreviare il tempo di asciugatura necessario centrifugare bene la biancheria. Anche gli indumenti da non stirare, ad es. le camicie, devono essere centrifugati per secondi prima dellasciugatura. Quanto pesa la biancheria asciutta? Utilizzare i seguenti valori indicativi per riempire correttamente la macchina. Questi valori si riferiscono ad indumenti in cotone. 10 MANUTENZIONE E PULIZIA Pulizia del filtro Dopo ogni ciclo necessario pulire il filtro, ubicato allinterno della porta. Procedere nel seguente modo: Estrarre il filtro tirandolo verso lalto. Rimuovere tutti filacci dal filtro con una mano o un panno umido. Risistemare il filtro. Svuotamento del contenitore dellacqua Lacqua di condensa estratta dalla biancheria si raccoglie in un apposito contenitore. Esso deve essere svuotato dopo ogni ciclo, ma pu essere svuotato anche durante lasciugatura. Se si dimentica di svuotare il contenitore, si accende la spia sul pannello e il ciclo si interrompe anche se la biancheria non asciutta. Inserire il contenitore fino in fondo. Pulizia della macchina Lesterno, il pannello di comando, il cestello, le superfici in plastica e gomma devono essere puliti con un panno umido ed un detersivo per piatti neutro. Pulizia dellinterno del cestello Se dopo lutilizzo prolungato della macchina si forma una patina sul cestello, rimuoverla con un anticalcare ed un panno umido. ATTENZIONE! Non usare mai solventi o abrasivi. Pulizia del condensatore Eliminare regolarmente i filacci dal condensatore per non allungare il tempo dasciugatura ed aumentare il consumo denergia. Procedere nel seguente modo: 1. Estrarre il condensatore utilizzando limpugnatura superiore. 2. Pulire il condensatore con un telefono per doccia o una spazzola morbida. 3. Asciugare anche lesterno. 4. Lasciare sgocciolare il condensatore; una volta asciutto, risistemarlo nella posizione corretta. Importante! Non usare mai oggetti appuntiti o attrezzi per pulire gli interstizi tra le lamelle in quanto il condensatore pu danneggiarsi e divenire permeabile. Non utilizzare mai la macchina senza condensatore. Conservare la ricevuta di acquisto. In sede di richiesta di assistenza od ordinazione dei ricambi importante indicare il codice del prodotto, il numero di serie ed il modello dellasciugabiancheria, riportati sulla targhetta matricola. Eventuali danni durante il trasporto devono essere denunciati immediatamente al trasportatore. Danni, errori ed eventuali parti mancanti devono essere denunciati immediatamente al venditore. Non lasciare il materiale dimballo alla portata di bambini. Il materiale contrassegnato con riciclabile e deve essere consegnato ad un centro di raccolta autorizzato. Installazione Installare lasciugabiancheria su un pavimento piano oppure sopra una lavatrice. In ogni caso lasciugabiancheria deve essere perfettamente orizzontale. Controllare con una livella e, alloccorrenza, regolare i piedini. Verificare che laria possa circolare liberamente sotto la macchina. Assicurare un sufficiente ricambio daria tra la griglia ed il basamento. Per questo motivo si sconsiglia vivamente di mettere lasciugabiancheria su un tappeto o su pavimento di moquette. 12

13 Avvertenze importanti in sede di installazione. Laria di scarico pu raggiungere +60 C. Non installare quindi lasciugabiancheria su pavimenti termosensibili. Verificare che la temperatura dellambiente in cui installata lasciugabiancheria non superi +35 C. Uneccessiva temperatura ambiente allunga il tempo dasciugatura ed aumenta i consumi energetici. Lo spazio attorno alla macchina deve essere il pi pulito possibile. Non rimuovere i piedini regolabili. Una certa distanza tra il pavimento e la macchina indispensabile per la circolazione daria. Una ventilazione bloccata provoca un aumento di temperatura allinterno della macchina e ne compromette il funzionamento. Collegamento elettrico Lasciugabiancheria viene fornita con cavo e spina per il collegamento a 230 V monofase 10 A. La macchina deve essere allacciata ad una presa collegata a terra. Kit di sovrapposizione (accessorio su richiesta) Lasciugabiancheria pu essere installata sopra una lavatrice a caricamento frontale. A tal scopo richiesto lapposito kit di montaggio, disponibile presso i rivenditori autorizzati. P1044 Collegamento di un tubicino di scarico Se il luogo dove installato lessiccatore ha un condotto di scarico a terra, lacqua di condensa pu essere evacuata tramite un tubicino, facilmente reperibile in commercio. Per il collegamento procedere come segue: Togliere la fascetta A Togliere il tappo di chiusura B Inserire a fondo il tubicino di scarico C Fissare il tubicino C con la fascetta A. 16 WARNINGS Please read all the information contained in this instruction booklet before installing and using your tumble dryer. By doing so, the tumble dryer will function correctly and to the highest degree of efficiency. All those using the appliance must be familiar with the relevant safety information. Please store this instruction booklet with care. Should the appliance be sold or transferred to another owner, or should you move house and leave the appliance, please make sure that this booklet is supplied with the appliance. Installation and technical assistance This tumble dryer is designed for domestic use only. When using this appliance, please comply with the instructions in this booklet. Failure to do so may result in injury to people or damage to objects. This appliance must be installed and/or serviced (e.g. modifying tumble dryers electrical supply cable) by qualified personnel only. Servicing carried out by non-qualified personnel may damage the appliance or cause injury to people and damage objects. Servicing and repairs must be carried out by a service centre authorised by the manufacturer. Do not attempt to repair appliance yourself. Make sure that the appliance is not standing on its electrical supply cable. If the tumble dryer is placed on top of a washing machine, it is compulsory to use the stacking kit (optional accessory). Using your tumble dryer Do not allow children to play with appliance or touch the control panel. When the appliance is working, the drum and rear panel reach very high temperatures. Therefore, do not touch these parts. Please make sure that children are kept well away from appliance when it is working. Pet animals or children may climb inside the appliances drum; always make sure that the drum is empty before loading. Do not overload appliance (see programme chart). Please make sure that no gas lighters have accidentally been left in pockets of garments to be loaded into appliance. Danger of explosion: Never tumble dry items that have been in contact with inflammable solvents (petrol, methylated spirits, dry cleaning fluid and the like). As these substance are volatile, they could cause an explosion. Tumble dry only items washed with water. In order to avoid danger of fires caused by excessive drying, do not use appliance to dry the following items: Cushions, quilts and the like (these items accumulate heat). Items containing rubber foam or materials similar to rubber foam. Canvas shoes or sports shoes, as they could get stuck between the door and the drum, thus blocking the latter. Leave the door slightly ajar when the appliance is not being used. This will allow the seal to be preserved. Clean fluff filter after using tumble dryer. To prevent fire risks, do not use the appliance if the fluff filter is non placed properly or damaged. Disposing of tumble dryer All materials marked with the symbol are recyclable and should be taken to a special disposal point. You are kindly requested to participate in the safeguarding of the environment, even when you decide to dispose of the appliance. Disconnect electrical supply cable from mains. Cut off electrical supply cable. For information regarding waste collection points, please contact local authorities or your nearest Electrolux Service Centre. 16

18 DESCRIPTION OF CONTROL PANEL Water container When the tumble dryer is being used, condensation is collected in a special container. To empty container, please refer to Cleaning chapter. Important: If the water container fills up completely during the drying cycle, the relevant light lights up indicating that the container has to be emptied. The drying time selector dial continues to turn towards the O position, but the drying cycle is stopped, that means that the laundry is not dried. After having emptied the container, you have to select the drying programme again for the time required to complete drying. Attention: After this operation, the dryer can stay still for some minutes before starting the programme and during this period the water container light remains alight. 2. Programme chart For further information, please refer to programme table. 3. Door opening button To open door, press this button. Should the door be opened while appliance is working, the tumble dryer will stop functioning. Press start button to resume drying. 4. Low temperature button (optional function) Press this button in order to reduce the intensity of heat produced while the tumble dryer is functioning (1400 W). Press this button when drying delicate cotton and linen items. N.B. When drying programme has been completed, press low temperature button once again to desactivate function. 5. Start button Select desired drying time and press start button: the appliance will start drying. ATTENTION! The door must be closed. 6. Water container full light This light lights up when the water container is full or when it has been inserted incorrectly. 7. Drying time selector dial Select desired drying time by turning dial clockwise (to the right). ATTENTION! In order to avoid causing damage to mechanism, do not turn the dial anti-clockwise. There are two drying programmes to choose from: Linen - Cotton - (2000 W), minutes Synthetics - (1400 W), minutes Drying times vary according to the particular type of fabric, quantity of laundry and drying level (see programme chart). Cooling Drying programmes end with a ten minute cooling phase. This ten minute period is calculated as part of the overall selected drying time. During the cooling phase, the appliances heating elements are switched off and the laundry is cooled before the tumble dryer stops automatically in position 0 (end of drying cycle). Do not shorten or interrupt the cooling phase. Leaving warm laundry inside the drum will cause creasing and in some cases permanent damage. 8. Mains-on light The mains-on light lights up at the start of the drying cycle. It switches off at the end of selected drying time. 18

20 HOW TO USE YOUR TUMBLE DRYER Before using your tumble dryer for the first time There may be dust or dirt inside a brand new tumble dryer. Place a few damp cloths inside the appliance and dry for approximately 20 minutes. 1. Loading laundry Open door by pressing the appropriate button. Load spun laundry. Do not press laundry in appliance. Close door making sure that there are no laundry items preventing the door from being closed. 2. Select drying time Turn dial clockwise until the desired drying time is under the symbol on the front panel. The mains-on light will then light up Press low temperature button, if necessary. M Start programme Press start button; the appliance will start functioning. The selected drying time may also be changed after the programme has started. In order to do this, re-set dial and depress start button again. 5. End of cycle When the selected cycle has come to an end, the tumble dryer will stop and the mains-on light will switch off automatically. The selector dial will return to the zero position. 21 IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON USING THE TUMBLE DRYER Sort and prepare laundry before drying Sort laundry to be dried according to fabric type (see label on each item) and desired degree of dryness. Close all zips and tie all strings. Close pillowcases and quilt covers to prevent small items from getting tangled inside them. Never tumble dry the following: Particularly delicate items such as synthetic curtains, silk and nylon stockings. Items containing rubber foam or materials similar to rubber foam. Woollens or mixed-wool garments, as these will shrink and felt. Do not tumble dry items treated with inflammable liquids (petrol, methylated spirits, dry cleaning fluid) to avoid fire risks. Starched fabrics Starched fabrics may also be dried in this appliance. To obtain the best results, select iron dry drying time with residual dampness. When the cycle has been completed, clean tumble dryer drum with a damp cloth and then with a dry cloth in order to remove any remaining starch. What is fluff? When you begin to use your tumble dryer, you will be surprised at the amount of fluff that accumulates in the fluff filter. This is perfectly normal and does not mean that the tumble dryer is damaging the laundry being dried. When the tumble dryer is being used, as well as when items are washed by hand or in a washing machine, fibres and fluff are released by any laundry item and adhere to its surface. This also happens when fabrics are hung out to dry in outdoor environments. In a tumble dryer fibres and fluff accumulate in the fluff filter and increase in volume because of the heat inside the appliance. Time and energy consumption Energy consumption and drying times vary according to the quantity, residual dampness after spinning, size and nature of the fabrics being dried and the degree of dryness. If the appliance is overloaded, mediocre drying results will be obtained and the laundry will be creased. In order to reduce energy consumption and drying times, it is necessary to spin the laundry adequately. The use is recommended of a washing machine capable of spinning laundry at a speed of 800 rpm or more. Garments which are not ironed, such as shirts, must also be spun for seconds before they are dried in the tumble dryer. ENGLISH Shrinking Some items (such as shirts and the like) may easily shrink to a greater or lesser extent. This is due to the fact that these items are suspended inside the tumble dryer, as opposed to being hung on a washing line to dry, which is usually the case. Do not over-dry these items. Select iron dry drying time for these items. How much does dry laundry weigh? Please use the following values to load the appliance correctly. These values refer to cotton garments: Approximate weight in grammes Bathrobes Quilt covers Sheets Handtowels, pillowcases Shirts, night-gowns Pyjamas, blouses Underpants, socks Leggings The labels on the garments indicate exactly which drying method to choose. 22 MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING Cleaning fluff filter Clean fluff filter located on the inside part of the door after every drying programme. Proceed as follows: Pull filter upwards in order to remove it. Remove fluff from filter by hand or with a damp cloth. Place filter in original position. Emptying water container Water extracted from the laundry being dried is collected in a special container. This container must be emptied after every cycle, but it can also be emptied during the drying cycle. Should you forget to empty the container, a light will light up on the panel and the drying cycle will stop automatically even if the laundry is not dry yet. Insert container correctly. Cleaning tumble dryer The external part of the appliance, the control panel, the drum, its plastic and rubber surfaces may be cleaned with a damp cloth and neutral washing-up liquid. Cleaning inside part of drum Should a film of limescale build up on the drum after a while, remove it with a damp cloth and a limescale remover. ATTENTION! Do not use solvents or abrasive substances. Cleaning condenser Remove fluff from condenser on a regular basis to avoid prolonging drying times and increasing energy consumption. Proceed as follows: 1. Remove condenser by using the top handle. 2. Clean condenser with a hand-held shower or a soft brush. 3. Clean external part, too. 4. Leave condenser to dry; when it is dry, place in original position. Important! Do not use pointed objects or utensils to clean the spaces between the plates, as this could damage the condenser and make it permeable. 25 Important information regarding installation Hot air emitted by the appliance may reach temperatures of up to 60 C. Therefore, do not place appliance on floors which are not resistant to high temperatures. Make sure that the temperature of the room in which the appliance is installed does not exceed 35 C. Excessive room temperature will prolong drying times and cause energy consumption to increase. Please keep space surrounding tumble dryer as clean as possible. Do not remove the appliances adjustable feet. It is essential to provide a certain amount of space between the floor and the appliance for ventilation purposes. Blocking ventilation would inevitably cause the appliances inside temperature to increase and would therefore affect the appliances efficiency. Electrical connections The tumble dryer comes with cable and plug for 230V single phase 10 A connections. Permanent installation of the appliance in humid environments, such as bathrooms, must be carried out in full compliance with the relevant laws and regulations. Permanent electrical connections must be carried out by qualified personnel only. Stacking Kit (optional accessory) This tumble dryer may be stacked on a front-loading washing machine. However, the tumble dryer will have to be fixed to the washing machine. For this to be carried out, the special stacking kit (available from all Zanussi Authorised Dealers) will be required. Srg for unng skader p trketrommelen selv om den skal skrotes. Trekk ut stpselet av stikkontakten. Kapp strmkabelen ved utgangen fra trketrommelen. Ta eventuelt kontakt med kommunen for f nrmere opplysninger om hvor du kan avlevere din gamle trketrommel eller henvend deg til Electrolux Service. Nr trketrommelen er i gang, blir bakveggen og trommelen svrt varme. La derfor vre med rre disse delene. Pass p at det ikke befinner seg barn i nrheten av trketrommelen nr den er i bruk. Eksplosjonsfare: Trk aldri vaskety som har vrt i kontakt med brannfarlige lsemidler (bensin, alkohol, flekkfjerningsmiddel etc.) i trketrommelen, da disse kjemikaliene kan forrsake en eksplosjon ved fordampningen. 30 BESKRIVELSE AV PANELETS FUNKSJONER Vannbeholder Under trking samles kondensvannet opp i beholderen. Fr tmming: se avsnittet Rengjring. Viktig Hvis vannbeholderen blir helt full under trkingen, vil signallampen lyse. Det betyr at beholderen m tmmes. Trketidsvelgeren fortsetter dreie frem til O, men trkingen er stoppet og vasketyet blir derfor ikke trt. Nr beholderen har blitt tmt, m trkeprogrammet velges om igjen og trketiden innstilles p den tiden som er ndvendig for avslutte trkingen. Merk: Det kan g noen minutter fr trketrommelen starter programmet, og i denne perioden vil signallampen for vannbeholderen fortsette med lyse. 2. Programskjema Se ytterligere opplysinger i programoversikten. 3. Knapp - pning av luken Trykk inn knappen for pne luken. Trommelen stopper dersom luken pnes mens trkingen er i gang. Trykk p startknappen for fortsette trkingen. 4. Knapp - sknetrking (Tilvalgsfunksjon) Trykk inn denne knappen hvis du ogs vil trke en normal vask p redusert varmeeffekt (1400 W). Brukes til sarte og temperaturmfintlige bomullstekstiler. OBS! Nr trkingen er slutt, m denne knappen trykkes ut igjen. 6. Signallampe - vannbeholder Lyser nr vannbeholderen er full eller ikke er satt ordentlig i. 7. Trketidsvelger Still inn trketiden ved vri bryteren med urviseren (mot hyre). OBS! Vri aldri bryteren mot urviseren. Det kan skade mekanismen. Du kan velge mellom to forskjellige tidsstyrte trkeprogrammer: Normalvask - bomull (elementeffekt 2000 W) fra 20 til 150 minutter. Sknevask - syntetisk (elementeffekt 1400 W) fra 20 til 100 minutter. Trketiden avhenger av tekstiltype, vasketymengde og trkegrad (se programoversikten). Avkjling Trkeprogrammet avsluttes med en avkjlingsfase p 10 minutter, som er medberegnet i den trketiden som velges. Under avkjlingen kobles varmen ut og plaggene kjles av fr trommelen automatisk stopper p 0 (avsluttet trketid). Avkjlingsfasen m ikke forkortes eller avbrytes. Varme tekstiler som fr lov ligge, blir veldig krllete og kan f permanente skader. 8. Kontrollampe Lyser mens trommelen er i gang, og slokner nr trketiden er slutt. 5. 32 SLIK BRUKER DU TRKETROMMELEN Fr trommelen tas i bruk for frste gang I en ny trommel kan det finnes stv og smuss. Legg derfor inn noen fuktige, rene kluter og trk dem i ca. 20 minutter. 1. Legg i vasketyet pne luken ved trykke p knappen for lukepning. Ls opp det sentrifugerte vasketyet og legg det inn i trommelen. Steng luken og pass p at ingen plagg kommer i klemme. 2. Velg trketid Vri trketidsvelgeren med urviseren til nsket trketid str rett under merket. Kontrollampen lyser Trykk eventuelt p nsket tilvalgsknapp M Start programmet Trykk p startknappen. Trketrommelen gr i gang. Du kan vri bryteren fremover til en annen tid etter at trkingen er startet. 5. Avsluttet trkeprogram Trommelen stanser automatisk og kontrollampen slokner nr innstilt trketid er slutt. Trketidsvelgeren str p 0. pne luken og ta ut de avkjlte plaggene. 33 VIKTIGE RD OG TIPS OM TRKING Sorter og forbered vasketyet fr trking Sorter plaggene etter tekstiltype (se vaskemerket i de enkelte plaggene) og nsket trkegrad. Lukk glidelser og knytt lse bnd. Snorer p dynetrekk og putevar skal knyttes sammen slik at sm plagg ikke samles inne i dem. Flgende kan ikke trkes i trketrommel Spesielt sarte tekstile som f eks gardiner av syntetiske fibrer, silkeplagg og nylonstrmper. Plagg som inneholder skumgummi eller gummlignende materialer. Ull og plagg som inneholder ull, da de vil filte og krympe. Trk aldri plagg som er behandlet med brannfarlige vsker (bensin, alkohol, flekkfjerningsmiddel) i trketrommelen p grunn av brannfaren. Stivete tekstiler Stivete tekstiler kan ogs trkes i trommelen. For f best effekt br det velges samme trketid som for stryketrt, som har en viss restfuktighet. Nr trkingen er slutt, m trommelen trkes av innvendig med en fuktig klut og deretter med en trr klut for fjerne eventuelle rester av stivelse. Krymping Spesielt vevde tekstiler (f eks bomullsunderty) har lett for krympe i strre eller mindre grad avhengig av kvaliteten. Dette skyldes frst og fremst at plaggene i trommelen trkes svevende i motsetning til nr de hengetrkes. Unng derfor overtrke slike plagg p annet enn programmet stryketrt. Hva er lo? Nr du begynner bruke trketrommelen, blir du kanskje forbauset over mengden av lo p lofilteret. Det er helt normalt og betyr ikke at trommelen sliter p tyet. Under bruk og vask for hnd eller i maskin lsner fibrer og trder (lo), men blir sittende p plaggenes overflate. Nr plaggene trkes utendrs, blses loen vekk av vinden, men i trommelen samles det opp i filteret og luftes opp av trkeprosessen. Tids- og energiforbruk Energiforbruk og trketid avhenger av mengden av vaskety som trkes, restfuktighet etter sentrifugering, plaggenes strrelse, typen tekstiler og nsket trkegrad. En overfylt trketrommel gir et drlig trkeresultat og krllete plagg. For redusere energiforbruket og redusere trketiden br vasketyet vre godt sentrifugert. Vi anbefaler en vaskemaskin med minst 800 omdreininger i minuttet eller mer til normal vask. Selv strykefrie plagg som f eks skjorter br sentrifugeres i mellom 10 og 30 sekunder fr trking. Hvor mye veier trt vaskety? For at du skal kunne ha riktig mengde vaskety i trketrommelen, br du ha noen veiledende verdier. Disse er basert p bomullsplagg.
